A PhD position is available at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of Graz, Austria in the Group of Biocatalvtic Synthesis under the supervision of Dr. Christoph Winkler. The project is financed by the Austrian Science Fund and will be realized together with Assist. Prof. Dr. Marc Garcia-Borràs at the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) at the University of Girona, Spain. The objective is the development of a new photobiocatalytic enzyme platform for C-c bond formation reactions. The position is for 3 years, includes a 6-9-month research stay in Girona, and ideally starts by November 2025.
