β’ Step 1: Masterβs degree me minimum 55% marks (SC/ST ke liye 50%) hona zaroori hai.
β’ Step 2: UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) ya State SET (State Eligibility Test) qualify karna hota hai.
β’ Step 3: Phir college/university level ke recruitment me apply karte ho (state PSC ya university ke advertisement ke through).
β’ Step 4: Interview hota hai (kabhi kabhi written bhi hota hai) β selection ho jata hai.

β’ Kai Private Universities, aur kuch Autonomous Colleges, apne level par direct interview-based hiring karti hain.
β’ Agar aap NET/SET qualified ho to preference milti hai,
lekin kuch jagah PhD holders ko bhi directly hire kar lete hain (as per UGC norms).
β’ Ye mostly contractual ya permanent dono ho sakti hai, depend karta hai institution par.

β’ Agar aap PhD complete kar lete ho UGC Regulations 2021 ke according,
to aap NET/SET ke bina bhi eligible ho jaate ho Assistant Professor ke liye.
β’ Lekin condition ye hai ki PhD UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure), 2009 or 2021 Regulations ke tahat hi honi chahiye.
π Matlab β agar PhD valid hai, to NET/SET exempted ho jaate ho.
