Recently, the Osmosis Zone community re-evaluated the liquid staked $OSMO held by the Community Pool and approved the deployment of 1.25M $OSMO as liquidity in the stkOSMO/OSMO Supercharged pool on Osmosis 🧪

For LSTfi to thrive, there must be adequate underlying liquidity for the tokens. At the same time, there needs to be adequate diversity amongst LSTs to avoid centralization risks ❌

The $OSMO allocated to pSTAKE from the Community Pool will not only enhance the diversification of the Osmosis liquid staking layer but also further decentralize the network. This is achieved by pSTAKE's automated validator decentralization strategy that delegates the $OSMO stake to ~75 Osmosis validators 🌐

Additionally, this will help supercharge the Osmosis Zone DeFi ecosystem, with more adoption of $OSMO LSTs such as stkOSMO coming to QuasarFi, Levana Protocol, Mars Protocol, and other protocols ⚡
