*📖 (4) Short Surahs.*
You may begin teaching your child the short surahs of the Qur'ān at around one year and eight months of age, depending on the child’s level of understanding, for every child grows at their own pace. 📖
Start by reciting the surahs to the child in a clear and gentle voice, and repeat them every night before bed.
With consistency, you will begin to notice - bi-ithni-llâh - after several months, that if you pause at the end of a verse, your child can complete the final word on their own.
At that point, you will have planted a seed of goodness in their heart, in shā’ Allāh.
You may then move on to another surah, step by step, with love, patience, and seeking reward.
