Hi all, we have found a new time for our community dev calls. We will now be meeting on Wednesdays at 9am PT/12pm ET/6pm CET for just 30 minutes starting tomorrow 10/16.

We will alternate this call between these two formats:
* development update - our team will present updates followed by a short Q&A. These calls will be aimed at those hoping to build tools on top of Regen Ledger, but will also be relevant for validators
* validator coordination - planning of testnets and mainnet launch led by our lead validators

Tomorrow's call will be focused on dev updates and next week will be the validator call. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

We, the Regen lead validators (Chris Remus of chainflow, and Joe Bowman of Chorus One) are running a programme of festive challenges over the coming five days! Each day around this time (1200UTC ish) a challenge will be announced in this channel. Congo-1 participants can earn incentivised testnet rewards by completing the challenges and creating a PR containing the block height / transaction ID for validation) in the testnets github repo.

Challenge 1 (19th December): Update your validator details/name to something festive!

Challenge Two (20th Dec): Delegate a gift to a fellow validator. Don't forget to submit txhash and blockheight as proof.

Challenge Three (21st Dec): Send a holiday greeting to another validator in the memo field of a tx

Challenge Four (22nd Dec): Spread the Seeds of joy this Christmas by sending another validator a gift

Fifth and final challenge (23rd Dec): there is a Festive Message hidden in block 699140; the first PR will receive the prize.

As there are no uptime incentives, congo-1 validators can be taken offline to prepare for algradigon-1 at your convenience :)
