According to Twitter Analytics comparing posts around the other major German parties this simply is not true by any available metric.

Talarico denies these claims and that he has ever set foot in Ohio but MAGA World is pressing forward. Trump surrogate Nick Sortor is claiming he has phone calls with the mental health hospital proving Talarico was there.
Right wing news outlets such as The Blaze have been asked to cover the story but have been skeptical to do so, correctly worrying about a defamation suit, outside of speculating on why Talarico took a week long break from campaigning.
