🇺🇸🗳⚡️- The Senate race in Alaska is too close to call for now, with Dan S. Sullivan only 298 votes behind Mary Peltola at 54% of votes counted.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Montana's Initiative 194 has passed. Nonprofits, trusts, partnerships, corporations, trade associations and unincorporated associations doing business within Montana will be prohibited from contributing to political campaigns.

🇺🇸🇨🇳⚡️- Oracle just cancelled a $7B chip leasing contract with Tencent. Reuters indicate the deal fell through after Oracle was pressured by U.S. officials, while Tencent received numerous visits from Guangdong officials.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Brandon Herrera is taking his loss tonight in good spirits.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Democrats have flipped the Texas State House.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- House Speaker Mike Johnson will not run for GOP leadership next year after the historical wipeout last night. Jim Jordan, a longtime freedom caucus favorite, will likely be the next GOP House Leader.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Republicans by and large stayed home in both rural counties and GOP leaning suburbs.

Some analysis is suggesting that Appalachia shifted 40 points towards Democrats because of the turnout collapse.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- In Florida, the turnout among 18-29 year old Republicans or GOP leaning independents was catastrophically low, anywhere between 9-13%.

Meanwhile young Democrats and left leaning independents had turnout well above 35%.

Replicated across the country this alone explains the massive shift of young people, particularly men, away from the GOP.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Trump Admin will continue with its edgelord communications strategy after the midterms.

🇺🇸⚡️- President Trump is considering firing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth following the midterm results, with Hegseth reportedly being one of the leading advocates for continuing the war in Iran, according to CBS.

It should be noted that Hegseth has strongly advocated for regime change in Iran, although ironically, his own job is now in question.

🇺🇸⚡️- As many pundits last night pointed out, this would mirror President Bush getting rid of Rumsfeld after the 2006 elections.

🇺🇸⚡- Senator from Utah John Curtis had a Substack article ready to post when the results of the election were made apparent, which called for "Republicans to return to the principled conservative values that once defined us".

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️- President Trump admits that the Iran war cost Republicans the midterm elections.

🇺🇸🗳⚡️- Exit polls by faith show that the GOP barely won the Catholic vote and that the largest "religious" group to show up to the polls were people with no religion.
