Kremlin tells officials to stop using iPhones

"At a Kremlin-organized seminar for officials involved in domestic politics, Sergei Kiriyenko, first deputy head of the presidential administration, told officials to change their phones by April 1, Kommersant said, citing unidentified sources.

“It’s all over for the iPhone: either throw it away or give it to the children,” Kommersant quoted one of the participants of the meeting as saying. “Everyone will have to do it in March.”

President Vladimir Putin has always said he has no smartphone, though Peskov has said Putin does use the Internet from time to time."

Putin may not use a smartphone, and neither does our Cory Morningstar.

Personally, I am about to embark on a "Third Way": a de-Googled repurposed smartphone which does not send data back to Google or anyone else.

I also have a non-smart Nokia which use when I want a break from social media and the internet.

So it's 3 phones for me: a "normal" one which leaks data everywhere, a private "Above" smartphone, and a non smart Nokia which is great for walks in nature.

If anyone is interested into looking at Above phones as an option, below is the link. They also ship from the UK so if you are not in the US make sure to drop them a line saying you are UK based. It takes a while to get used to a new operating system so I recommend the transition from the old data leaky smartphone to the new de-Googled and de-Appled smartphone to be slow, and to use both in parallel during the transition, which I am still doing as I am still very much a beginner at this.

"8 Years Before is an independently-funded documentary film directed by international journalist Donald Courter and produced collaboratively with international heavyweight fighting champion Jeff Monson.

The film portrays in stark detail the long saga of suffering that the Donbass people endured at the hands of the Ukrainian military, following the 2014 Euromaidan Coup d'etat. Through primary source accounts and interviews with ordinary citizens of Donbass, human stories with a perspective never before seen in the mainstream media are brought to light. Interviews with officials of the Donetsk & Lugansk People's Republics are also featured, providing viewers with an understanding of how these young government and civil administrations attempted to achieve peace for their people - amid constant bombings, an information blockade, and a life & death struggle for self-determination."

Its great to see some information at last for alternative money solutions, this video on the Bradbury pound explains how politicians could, if they wanted to, introduce a system similar to the Bradbury pound, it would have the power to bring the country out of its current serious problems, creating credit based on all the people of the nation through their wealth and labour potential, it would be a money of the people that would benefit the people, we currently live in exactly the opposite world run by central banks who control the money privately, with the sole intention of benefiting bankers ONLY, and stealing wealth from the ordinary working population, this is exactly why we see the ordinary working class become poorer and poorer while the rich get richer and richer, its time to bring back the Bradbury pound, who will do it?

"The point here is that with the onset of mass media, of the internet and the smartphone, the tidal swell of image and information, the impossible amounts of trivial distractions, has meant a sort of flatlining of moral awareness. I read an insightful tweet today from Fiorella Isabel….she writes “Dear U.S Citizens: Your government mocks you. That you aren’t furious Biden flew to Ukraine to commit to more money & support for a corrupt country with paramilitary Nazis in charge instead of helping poisoned citizens of East Palestine, Ohio, says it all. Wake. The. Hell. Up.” I was appearing on Press TV this same afternoon to discuss the Munich Security Conference (Davos for Defense, as its known). And I tried to express the surreality of an Anthony Blinken *confronting* a Chinese diplomat over the weather balloon incident. Meanwhile the U.S. continues to pour billions of dollars into a cynical war campaign and marketing strategy that will cost of the lives of, probably, millions. This on the heels of the pandemic protocols, the trauma of which is barely recognized yet.

So, this sense I have today — in addition to fertility collapse globally — is that the citizens of the West, at least the U.S., Canada and the EU, have stopped falling in love. Romantic love feels almost like a historical experience. The optimism I remember with Polaroid picture taking, with the Avant Garde, with creativity overall, is gone. And as Johan Eddebo noted in a note to me: “the crisis and the emergency saps all the libidinous energy, which gets directed towards war, towards heroes (Zelenski), and towards the mass mobilization of hatred.”
