Folks,
Please see this announcement for my twin appearances on Croatia broadcast TV tomorrow & Sunday.
We recorded two lengthy segments which I believe are overdubbed by Andrija Klaric, an entrepreneur and leading campaigner in Croatia. For example, he organised the largest street demonstrations the country has seen.
Timings & links in his forwarded message.
Please would you share widely?
Unless the authorities physically enter the station, they cannot censor what’s being broadcast to the public.
It’s an exciting action.
Best wishes
Mike

French statistician, Christine Cotton, has criticised the Pfizer / BioNTech c19 injectable product, I think on solid grounds. Unfortunately the public won’t understand the reasons why these grounds are reasonable to call into question the commercial product that was injected to very many people.
Here’s my rebuttal of their critique of what she wrote.

Like they say in war, you know you’re right over the target when the flak becomes most intense.
Reading between the lines, they completely failed to counter either principal concerns.
There are two manufacturing processes & they even admit to reductions in mRNA integrity and method of synthesis. However, they gloss over the real possibility of clinical differences by stating that EMA endorsed process 2 (commercial process). It’s not possible so to endorse given the dataset with which they were provided. No one knows exactly what differences may give rise to important differences in clinical behaviour (either safety or effectiveness or both).
The traditional way you assess equivalence in biological products is by a comparison of adverse events and where available, efficacy. You get the former, theoretically, as a matter of course, because adverse event monitoring should be reflected in reports to such systems as VAERS. Isn’t it odd that they neglected to summarise the VAERS profile of process 2 and compare it to the claimed adverse event reports during the formal trials on process 1 product?
Several times, they stated that her remark that process 2 product was tested on only approximately 250 people was incorrect. Oddly enough, they didn’t do the obvious thing and tell us how many people did receive it in safety and efficacy trials. It was unavoidably much smaller than in the original trial (of process 1 product).
I’m also of the view that it was too small a trial even to conclude anything about safety, and absolutely nothing in efficacy. Such a study would be hopeless underpowered to detect anything useful beyond, perhaps, PK, which is noteworthy by its absence at any stage during formal development activities. It’s inappropriately missing because of the sleight of hand, procedurally, as a result of classifying it as a vaccine. While I recognise that PK with traditional vaccines probably is uninformative, that’s definitely NOT true with these novel gene based products.
It’s obvious that both her observations are fundamentally correct. There’s no doubt that a changed manufacturing process has led to a non identical product. That’s inevitable with complex biological products. It’s definitely not a simple matter to check a few parameters and then to declare that they’re equivalent. That’s because at this stage, nobody knows what changes are tolerated and which are not. In fact the only way to properly characterise what is essentially a new product is to formally test it again. Only with extended experience can it very reasonably be said that product emerging from different manufacturing processes are likely to be clinically equivalent.
It’s VERY troubling that they don’t tell us how many people were administered process 2 product before exposing millions, if not billions, of people to it.

Singer Tori Kelly Being Treated for Multiple Blood Clots After Collapsing
Tori Kelly, the singer known for songs like "Should've Been Us" and "Nobody Love," was rushed to the hospital Sunday night to be treated for blood clots, a source close to Kelly confirmed to ABC News.
The two-time Grammy winner is being treated at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles for multiple blood clots that were found near her vital organs after collapsing while out with friends, the source said.
TMZ was the first to report the news, with sources telling the outlet Kelly was "out for a while" after collapsing and that she is "in and out of consciousness" in the hospital.
Kelly first started sharing her music with the world as a child. When she was a young girl, she appeared on "Star Search" and "America's Most Talented Kids."

HEATWAVES IN THE 1980s & 1990s HOTTER THAN 2020s:
"A recent study found that the worst heatwaves in known history took place decades ago.
Despite the impact of climate change on Earth, the worst heat waves on our planet aren't happening now. They actually occurred 40 years ago, a new study has found.
The summer of 2021 may have brought the highest recorded temperatures to swaths of the American Northwest. When compared to local averages, however, this devastating heat wave loses out to hot spells that took place about 40 years ago in other parts of Earth, according to a review by researchers from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
For example, the 1985 heat wave in Brazil, which peaked at temperatures of 97.7 degrees Fahrenheit (36.5 degrees Celsius), and the 1980 heat wave that struck the American South with temperatures of up to 101 degrees F (38.4 degrees C), were both more severe when compared to local averages than the 2021 heat wave in the American Northwest, the scientists said in a statement. The 1998 heat wave in Southeast Asia, with temperatures hitting 91 degrees F (32.8 degrees C), was also relatively more intense, despite the fact that last year, temperatures in British Columbia, Canada, hit a much higher record of 121 degrees F (49.6 degrees C). The average temperature of Earth is about 57 degrees F(13.9 degrees C)."

HEATWAVE RECORD YEARS WERE 1980, 1985 & 1998:
'Scientists identify the most extreme heatwaves ever recorded globally':
"The western North America heatwave last summer was record-breaking with an all-time Canadian high of 49.6 °C in Lytton, British Columbia, on June 29, an increase of 4.6 °C from the previous peak.
The new findings, published today in Science Advances, uncovered five other heatwaves around the world which were even more severe, but went largely underreported.
The study, which calculated how extreme heatwaves were relative to the local temperature, showed the top three hottest-ever in the respective regions were in Southeast Asia in April 1998, which hit 32.8 °C, Brazil in November 1985, peaking at 36.5 °C, and Southern USA in July 1980, when temperatures rose to 38.4 °C."

The values are expressed in terms of how many SDs away from the mean temperature the most extreme heat day was, assessed against a moving climatology so that the climate change signal is excluded (see Materials and Methods). The regions are taken from Stone, 2019 (35). (A) SD away from the mean of the greatest historic extreme in each region. (B) Year in which the greatest historic extreme occurred. Regions where there is poor agreement between ERA5 and JRA55 reanalyses are excluded."

HOTTEST HEATWAVE WAS SOUTHEAST ASIA IN 1998, DRIVEN BY EL NIÑO. 2023 IS ALSO AN EL NIÑO YEAR:
"The Southeast Asian event in 1998 shows the greatest magnitude in terms of SD, and it spans a much longer time period (the event has a smaller magnitude and duration in JRA55). This event was likely driven by strong El Niño conditions. In 2016, a heat wave event in the same region, also driven by El Niño, was of higher absolute magnitude due to the increased influence of global warming"
