Catholic Relief Services, the leading US catholic humanitarian agency, had Congress officially send GPS coordinates of 4 Catholic sites (churches and convents) in Gaza that shouldn't be targeted.
Despite confirming they received the list, 2 sites were still bombed. A church and a convent were shelled by tanks and fired at by snipers who killed a mother and her daughter sheltering in the church -an act the Pope latter qualified as "terrorism."
