β€οΈ Valentineβs Day at the Parliament Protest 2022!! So far the protest had been a heartwarming story of survival and Kiwi ingenuity, of community, of love for one another, of kotahitanga | unity π₯°
Protestors, standing for freedom and to #EndTheMandates, had remained peaceful throughout #HoldTheLine Day, through all sorts of government tactics aimed to break their spirits and send them away.
The sprinklers on the lawn had been turned on; flood lighting was set up turning night into the brightness of day for those camping in front of the Beehive; music pumped loudly on repeat for days! All the while, the biggest cyclone in 60yrs raged...

The playlist had people dancing together in the mud, singing along to the #Macarena, #BabyShark, #JamesBluntβs πΆYouβre Beautiful. #CelineDionβs most famous song from the Titanic played, altered for full effect - a childβs recorder blasted during the chorus: π΅#MyHeartWillGoOn - very poor taste π especially looking back now at the data. With outdated c-v-d propaganda/government messaging as the ad break before the playlist began again. #disturbing yet spirits remained high as the people supported each other, singing and dancing together. βοΈππ»β€οΈπΊπΎπΆ

The administration will brief House leaders on Thursday. Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said there's no reason for Americans to panic.
"I am confident that President Biden, in the decisions that he has taken, is going to ensure the security of the American people going forward, and I will stand here at this podium and assert that, look you in the eye with confidence that we believe that we can and will and are protecting the national security of the United States and the American people."
A Democratic source familiar with the threat told NBC News: "This is a serious issue that could lead to a destabilizing situation and a national security threat."
The source described it as a βpotential foreign threatβ but would not identify where the threat is coming from.
