White House Bans Religious Easter Eggs

The Biden administration banned children from submitting Easter eggs with religious themes for its 2024 Celebrating National Guard Families art contest.

The competition, which is part of the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll, explicitly stipulated that egg designs not feature any "religious symbols" on the Christian holiday.

"The Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes," a flyer with instructions from the White House stated.

He (Kissinger) was also known in Greece for an infamous statement about the Greeks that was refuted by Kissinger himself but has passed into the realm of urban legend, and will no doubt survive after him.

Atheism is a religion, and because it is relatively empty at a spiritual level, I would say it lacks "heart" at its core, it gets often filled in, at its best or worst, with a woke belief system based on identity, including that of science: "I identify as a data scientist" is a form of self identification.

The catch is the only identity that is self-nourishing is a religious identity with a long and morally based body of narrative and cultural creation behind it. This is why woke culture represents the new atheist "crusades", it is inherently a form of intolerant religion, which is the only destination of religions not born of the heart: the woke are the new missionaries, but the message they bring is one of anger, not love.
