Its members outlined a cohesive worldview emphasizing bodily autonomy and the embrace of compassion, empathy, and reason [Woke-ism?] as well as performing rituals to mark major events in a person’s life or to celebrate rebellion against unjust authority."

Is it really surprising that for the first time in decades in Europe there was an assassination attempt against a PM who held a sensible stand on Russia? And not a pro-Russian one, for that matter; just a pragmatist and not a Russophobe.

Fico, with whom I have been in contact since 2008, stands for the part of the European establishment that has kept touch with reality and does not wish for its citizens to turn into grey radioactive ashes. And surely, he’s got to be the target. In Europe there are very few like him, and now they ought to take good care of their security.
Yes, the assassin is a fierce renegade from among the intellectuals, a certain topsy-turvy version of Gavrilo Princip. Yes, he wasn’t fond of Fico, and would write some crap.
However, his action stands for the quintessential new Europe, moronically Russophobic, feudatory unbridled, and completely brainless; devoid of any desire to grasp the simplest things; ready to throw its citizens into the furnace of self-serving American politics; the Europe of detestable degenerates with no knowledge of their own history.

Which is why Macron, Sunak, Scholz, and von der Leyen can so far feel safe for their skins.

It's the turn of the British opposition to curry favor with the Kyiv regime: this time, representatives of the UK Labour Party have arrived in Kyiv. Among them are Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Shadow Defence Secretary John Healey.
