Is there anything left to conserve? - UnHerd

"This, I think, is where we are today: the religious impulse is manifesting in material form, primarily through the use of technology to promote the human will. This phenomenon, which I like to call the Machine, is a material manifestation of the human desire for liberation through technology, in which all forms are dissolved in favour of the final and only sovereign: the independent rational individual, freed from the obligations of history, community and nature.

Transhumanism, artificial intelligence, the “transcending” of everything from gender to biology, the growing of food and babies in labs: openly now, we seek to break all given limits, remake nature, build the world anew. We seek to become gods. The people who are building our new digital Tower of Babel are very open about what they are up to. If you don’t believe me, let them explain it for themselves.

Transhumanist writer Elise Bohan, detailed a conversation she once had with a biologist at a conference on the future of transhumanism. “He looked me in the eye,” she says, “and whispered to me: ‘We’re building God, you know,’ … I looked back at him and I said: ‘Yeah, I know.'”

Similar sentiments are expressed by transhumanist philosopher Martine Rothblatt, who claims, “We are making God as we are implementing technology that is ever more all-knowing, ever-present, all-powerful and beneficent. Geoethical nanotechnology will ultimately connect all consciousness and control the cosmos.” Ray Kurzweil, Google’s head of engineering and philosopher-general of of the robot apocalypse is more succinct. “Does God exist?” he asks. “I would say: not yet.”

"If you want to “defend the West”, you are talking about defending Christendom and the values it created, and/or the post-Christian liberal culture it gave birth to, which itself was based upon those values.

Every culture is built around a sacred core. When it begins to rot, as all cultures do, it is because that core has been neglected. Usually its people have taken their eyes off the sacred centre and directed them somewhere else; towards false gods, golden calves, or their own dolled-up image in the mirror.

Chesterton, again, took issue with Marx on this one.
“The truth is that irreligion is the opium of the people,” he wrote. “Wherever the people do not believe in something beyond the world, they will worship the world.” This is the process which Christianity used to condemn as “idol worship”, and today’s West is at it in spades.

A lot of people who talk about “defending the West” these days are either trying to defend red in tooth and claw capitalism — the system which has done more to destroy culture and eternal values in the West than anything else — or they’re trying to defend free speech, individualism and the right to be rude on the internet. I would suggest that these things in themselves were the results of a settlement designed, in the process now known as “the Enlightenment” to replace the West’s original sacred story with a new, human-centred version.

This was the liberal settlement. It assumed that humans were disaggregated individuals who could roam the world speaking freely, consuming freely and imposing a rational science-based order on the world, the better to achieve progress. It combined the moral values and universalism of Western Christianity with rights-based individualism and a faith in science and technology, and it brought with it a new origin story, to replace the one about the garden and the snake.

This new story told of how we were saved from superstition and ignorance by the holy trinity of modernity: Reason, Science and Technology. Along the way, we stopped believing silly stories about gods and monsters, which had been made up by our ignorant ancestors before we could see the harsh but bracing reality that the universe is just a meaningless swirl of matter-energy which came from nothing for no reason, and human beings are just gene-replicating machines. Now here we are, working out how to rationally manage the whole show. Now, here we are, a new kind of being: post-religious Man.

I grew up sort of believing this story. I thought religion was over and we had moved beyond its stupid superstitions. I don’t believe that anymore. Now I believe something else: that in a significant sense, everything is religious."

Sasha Latypova in conversation with Dr Jane Ruby on the very large differences in toxicity of various batches of the Pfizer injection.
Note that the separation of toxicity profiles is so distinct that it’s very unlikely to have arisen by chance. It’s non random and to many of us, it signals intentionality.
The findings are published as a letter to the editor of the top journal, “Journal of Clinical Investigations”.
There’s a longer recording but this is the 15 minute “aftertalk”.
Best wishes

In the video I am referring to this graph and the fact that the blue and green dots are so cleanly separated into very distinct groups. The yellow ones are also extremely different from the blue and statistically different from the green. The empty space in between is also telling. While there is a huge variability lot-to-lot - which would be bad enough as it indicates uncontrolled manufacturing. However, the fact that the 3 groups are so distinct from each other shows that this variation is
not random. It shows a clear pattern which indicates intent, and experimental design or a targeted deployment. In this case there are clearly small extremely toxic lots (blue) introduced among medium-low and low toxicity lots which are larger in size.

Very recently, I watched Neil Oliver have on his GB News show, two guests on the topic of climate change. They were interviewed separately.
The second guest was dismissive of any questions and especially counters to the current narrative.
I’m as sure as a biologist can be that the whole fear thing, that its humans who are destroying our own environment, it’s fraudulent.
I tell one piece of the puzzle as I know it so far, below.

There will doubtless be readers who can do a much better job rebutting the climate change lies. If so, I’m asking you for help in getting that message out.

There are several pieces of well established, scientifically sound observations that tell us that the climate change narrative is wrong.
Worse, they know that it’s wrong.
Most appalling of all is that a sizeable number of scientists, working in the money spigot that is anthropogenic climate change funding, know perfectly well that it’s wrong.
I guess they’ve decided to turn a blind eye to inconvenient lies in exchange for a well paid, if dishonest, living.

I’ve been a commercial scientist for 35 years. I couldn’t work for money under such circumstances. I wouldn’t even need to have understood why we’re being paid to lie to the public in order to find it revolting and unacceptable.

Evidence for this claim is that as a young scientist, aged 31, then married with a new baby and also the sole breadwinner, I resigned from my first proper management level job in big pharma. I discovered a fraud in a research program in my peers department. It wasn’t dangerous, but would have led to the program being predictably lost in 2-3 years time, after around $10M of expenditure, in addition to “opportunity cost” (what we wouldn’t have done instead).
I gently probed the situation with my peer, who danced around the obvious fatal flaw. Eventually he said “What’s it to you? Neither of us will be holding the wire basket over our heads when the shit comes down”.
Next day, I was invited at short notice to a meeting with my boss, and my peer also turned up. It was put to me by our vice president level boss that it wasn’t acceptable to senior management for this project to die at this moment. It was suggested to me that I didn’t need to be a supporter of the project, but I did need to remain quiet. And we’d all get our year end bonuses.
I had no skills to navigate this appalling situation. I didn’t get the impression that my bosses boss was going to be sympathetic to anything I could say. At best, I’d have to imply incompetence on the part of my peer & I’d be challenged on why hadn’t I discussed it in the line (ie with my boss)?
There followed a few weeks of mental turmoil, during which time I believe I came close to a breakdown as a result of irreconcilable & very real suffering, whatever I did.
Eventually, I went in one Monday morning & resigned, leaving immediately after handing in my letter of resignation.
I had cited an unfortunate poor fit to the role, no blame to be assigned to any party. I didn’t mention uncovering fraud, of course.
It took three months to find another job, and my short stint at a senior level position was a question that recurred for many years. The honest person was rewarded by being damaged.
It took six years before I again reached that first management level. I know I did the right thing. There was no point in my earnest involvement in pharmaceutical R&D, what Professor Sir James Black called “The last truly important, organised game for adults” if, upon getting “wrong” results, we were just going to fake it.
It was the worst example of fraud I experienced (I bumped into several more that weren’t hugely different from my first example, suggesting it’s quite widespread). What made it the worst was the complicity of senior line management. It feels like a Mafia arrangement, in that silence was a minimal requirement.
I’m reflecting now how great a clue this was to what’s happening now. It seems there are enough people willing to look the other way for money. My only defence for why I didn’t realise that there was, to some degree, institutional fraud, was that it never occurred to me.

Several things come to mind in relation to climate change and fraud. One day I may write them up as a short article. As in the “covid pandemic”, you don’t find just one or two “errors of reasoning and/or fact”, but a long list of these, every one of which tilts in the direction of blaming humans.

My current favourite is either that I’m simply wrong in what I’ve taken from the observations (& mea culpa) or it’s such a huge lie that you’ll almost fall over with shock.

Polar ice cores several inches in diameter have been drilled out & studied carefully for decades. The idea was & is that you could study the ancient atmosphere by (a) direct measurement of [CO2] concentrations in air when the snow was falling which trapped a tiny sample in air bubbles frozen in the polar ice and & (b) indirectly measuring prevailing atmospheric temperature when snow was falling that later became permanent ice.
I think (a) is theoretically sound. I’ve no idea how they tested the many assumptions necessary to adopt in order to accept the data “as is”, but I could think of several, immediately. Potential contamination of the sample is one. Leaching gas into, out of, sideways or up & down in the “frozen record” is another. What was found was huge variations in atmospheric CO2 concentrations. It has been at least 10X greater in the past than now.
What was striking was that while there was a clear relationship between [CO2] concentrations and atmospheric temperature, the relationship WAS THE WRONG WAY AROUND!
Temperature changes occurred first and only after a delay did CO2 change, in the same direction.
The delay was iirc 800 years! At first I was dismissive because it seemed so implausible. Then I remembered that, unlike crystalline solids, which dissolve better & better as temperature of the liquid rises, the amount of gas dissolved in water falls as temperatures rise. The most plausible explanation was that the long delay was due to the time it takes a small amount of atmosphere, relative to the huge mass of the world’s oceans, to warm up said oceans.
In brief, something else than CO2’s greenhouse effect warms the oceans periodically (by just a few degrees centigrade from warmest to coolest) and this warming forces some of the dissolved CO2 gas out of the ocean and into the atmosphere.
We can even provide an explanation for the time delay between warming and [CO2] changes.
Upon cooling due to whatever is causing temperature changes, CO2 falls, after a similar delay.
This “wrong way around” relationship has been seen at least half a dozen times.
If it was so easy to dismiss, I think we’d have heard the rebuttal. It’d probably have become a standard thing to say “Oh, you too have been fooled by the ice core data. It doesn’t mean what you think it means. Here’s why”.
CO2 is indeed a greenhouse gas but it’s forcing power is way too small to override much stronger influences (we know it’s solar output and solar energy incident on the surface of the earth).
There are several more rebuttals of the official lies that our burning of so-called fossil fuels are dangerously warming the planet.
I think these must become better known.
As stated at the top, I’m not an atmospheric physicist and I’m well aware of my lacking the background knowledge necessary to adequately critique what I’ve described.

Best wishes
Mike

SCIENTIFIC PROOF CO2 IS NOT THE CAUSE OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Timing of Atmospheric CO2 and Antarctic Temperature Changes Across Termination III | Science

"We have measured the isotopic composition of argon in air bubbles in the Vostok core during Termination III (∼240,000 years before the present). This record most likely reflects the temperature and accumulation change, although the mechanism remains unclear. The sequence of events during Termination III suggests that the CO2 increase lagged Antarctic deglacial warming by 800 ± 200 years and preceded the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation."

MOST CO2 IS RELEASED BY THE OCEAN, IT'S NOT "MAN MADE":

Glacial/interglacial variations in atmospheric carbon dioxide | Nature

"Twenty years ago, measurements on ice cores showed that the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was lower during ice ages than it is today. As yet, there is no broadly accepted explanation for this difference. Current investigations focus on the ocean's ‘biological pump’, the sequestration of carbon in the ocean interior by the rain of organic carbon out of the surface ocean, and its effect on the burial of calcium carbonate in marine sediments."

THE TRUTH ABOUT CO2

CO2 lags earth temperature changes by 600-800 years, not the other way round. The CO2 causing climate change narrative is a hoax, climate change causes CO2 change instead, because the CO2 is emitted by the ocean, which acts as a temperature dependent carbon sink.

The temperature of the Earth is instead dependent on the Sun: the orbital Earth-Sun distance is not constant even in the medium term (Solar Inertial Motion). The long term orbital change is also because of the Milankovitch Cycles:
1. The shape of Earth’s orbit: eccentricity;
2. The angle Earth’s axis tilted with respect to Earth’s orbital plane: obliquity; and
3. The direction Earth’s axis of rotation is pointed towards: precession.
