"Clouds can both cool down and warm up the temperatures on Earth.
Clouds can block light and heat from the Sun, making Earth’s temperature cooler. You’ve probably noticed this kind of cooldown on a cloudy day.
However, some heat from the Sun does get down to Earth. Clouds can trap that heat from the Sun. At night, when there’s no sunlight, clouds are still trapping heat. It’s sort of like clouds are wrapping Earth in a big, warm blanket.

So clouds can have both a cooling effect and a warming effect.

"When it comes to Earth’s climate, do clouds warm more than they cool, or is it the other way around? Well, that depends on where the clouds are in Earth’s atmosphere.
Clouds within a mile or so of Earth’s surface tend to cool more than they warm. These low, thicker clouds mostly reflect the Sun’s heat. This cools Earth’s surface.
Clouds high up in the atmosphere have the opposite effect: They tend to warm Earth more than they cool. High, thin clouds trap some of the Sun’s heat. This warms Earth’s surface.
What about when you look at the effect of all clouds together? Cooling wins. Right now, Earth’s surface is cooler with clouds than it would be without the clouds.
Wispy clouds high up in the atmosphere generally make an area warmer. Lower-altitude clouds tend to help an area cool off."

WATER VAPOUR (INC. CLOUDS) IS THE REAL GREENHOUSE GAS. Water vapour, which is what clouds are made of, makes up 95% of the greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. Of the sum total of the 3.6% CO2 released into the atmosphere, approximately 0.9% is caused by human activity. Human CO2 makes up less than 1% of the 3.6% of the total greenhouse gases influencing our climate. The real greenhouse gas influencing our climate is water vapour, NOT CO2.

HOT & DRY DESERTS PROVE THAT WATER VAPOUR IS THE EARTH'S GREENHOUSE GAS:

"For the most part, hot and dry deserts have high temperatures during the day and low temperatures during the evening.

Some of the world's hot and dry deserts have temperatures reaching 49 degrees Celsius (120 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day. Often the desert temperature can fall to as low as negative 18 degrees Celsius (zero degrees Fahrenheit) in the middle of the night.

The dryness of the air in hot deserts helps explain the wide daily temperature swings. Water vapor is an important absorber of heat, but, with low amounts of it in the desert atmosphere, temperatures here are more directly controlled by sunlight: Intense solar radiation heats things up during the day, but once the sun goes down temperatures quickly drop.

Furthermore, the sparse cloud cover in dry deserts means more unobstructed solar radiation in the daytime – translating to higher temperatures – and less reflection of the desert surface’s radiative heat loss at night, which contributes to the colder nighttime temperatures."

What about CO2? As there are very few plants in hot and dry deserts, there is very little photosynthesis or absorption of CO2 and emission of O2 instead in hot and dry deserts. This means that if CO2 was the greenhouse gas, then we would see fewer temperature swings between day and night in hot and dry deserts than in forests, whereas it's exactly the other way round: there are much bigger swings where there is less water vapour and more CO2 than where there is higher CO2 and less water vapour.

It seems clear that water vapour (humidity, clouds) is the main factor causing the planet's real greenhouse effect, and NOT CO2.

I think I was working at Wyeth at this date, 1979. I’d just left school and had a manual job running microbiology air plates in production (they made spray dried SMA baby milk in that plant). Of course, you’ve no idea what the rest of the company does. I have a feeling they also made birth control pills and we joked they’d get you as a customer one way or another. Not funny now.

Famously, they also made vaccines. It appears that in 1979, management was aware of baby deaths after their products were injected. Instead of sorting it out, the memo proposed to distribute the implicated batches more widely, so that in no location would a signal of note arise. Does it get any more cynical than this??

That this FDA tweet is still up tells you quite a bit.
That they don’t care that you know it’s all fakery.
I’m aware that many people firmly believe that ivermectin treats covid. Based on its known properties then I do believe it would have a good chance to ameliorate symptoms and even disease progression.
I think it has helped many people.
I have a contrasting opinion about the cause(s) of people’s illnesses in relation to acute respiratory diseases.
In this case, it doesn’t matter who’s right (if any of us!) because what we agree on is that this molecule has multiple mechanistic activities, plausibly linked to therapeutic effects.
Inflammation is ubiquitous in multiple illnesses and agents acting on some of the physiological & biochemical pathways that are involved have a track record of clinical benefit.

FDA knows that. It’s surprisingly common that we do not fully understand how certain drugs do what they do.
In no way does that diminish the effectiveness of such substances.

That FDA sought to discourage people making rational choices about exploration of “off label” prescriptions is undeniable evidence that your welfare didn’t register at all.

"From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25 (2016).
Green leaves use energy from sunlight through photosynthesis to chemically combine carbon dioxide drawn in from the air with water and nutrients tapped from the ground to produce sugars, which are the main source of food, fiber and fuel for life on Earth. Studies have shown that increased concentrations of carbon dioxide increase photosynthesis, spurring plant growth.
However, carbon dioxide fertilization isn’t the only cause of increased plant growth—nitrogen, land cover change and climate change by way of global temperature, precipitation and sunlight changes all contribute to the greening effect. To determine the extent of carbon dioxide’s contribution, researchers ran the data for carbon dioxide and each of the other variables in isolation through several computer models that mimic the plant growth observed in the satellite data.
Results showed that carbon dioxide fertilization explains 70 percent of the greening effect, said co-author Ranga Myneni, a professor in the Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University. “The second most important driver is nitrogen, at 9 percent. So we see what an outsized role CO2 plays in this process.”
