Poisoning is when a person is exposed to a substance that can damage their health or endanger their life. When the substance was considerably smaller than bacteria, it was historically classified as a virus. There is nothing esoteric about calling something a virus.

The word "virus" is a signifier. Language is a collective construct. In our society, the signifier "virus" simply represents whatever the causative agent/s of Covid19 may be, it doesn't even matter if they are or are not that until there is any material proof of an alternative causative agent.

What most people understand by this word "virus" is this agent is smaller than bacteria, and it can cause infections.

The scientific aspects of the existence of the signified according to certain parameters or other is secondary and largely irrelevant: the realms of science, virology, etc. There will be no total consensus on the finer complex details of the signified, because the power of the word lies in the signifier instead and there is never total scientific consensus on the signified.

What matters is what it means to society at large. You can't re-engineer this use of this signifier in the global lexicon. This is what we have to work with. The signifier is "virus". Denial of virology will not change this signifier. Denial is a failed argument: it's weak as it offers literally nothing back, and millions of us know we had Covid19, deny that and you deny the lived reality of millions, not a way to make friends, as this is called gaslighting.

The only strong argument of principle is that no removal of liberty which violates our civil rights and bodily autonomy can be traded for any idea, because it's not even a reality, of safety.

The second argument is that safe and effective treatments actually do work against this disease, and so there is no need for fear or push any societal changes (restrctions).

Science or data are not the issue, despite what governments want us to believe so they have an alibi for their actions. We need to meet those actions and resist them as a matter of principle, not science.

They can fake and manipulate science and data until it works for them, but not principles.

This is not "shutting down debate": it's explaining how in the real world denying the existence of Covid19 or of the word "virus" is a failed starting point to make any new friends who are not yet in the freedom movement, or to attract anyone who may want their freedoms but may disagree with you on any denials of disease or viruses to join the freedom camp.

I'm here for freedom, rebuilding the finer details of entire fields of science when nobody in the real world wants to do that or knows what to replace them with anyway is not my goal here at this present moment. I've got a war against totalitarian technocracy to fight, I am not in a permanent science debating society.

Also, we live in the age of quantum science and applied bio-nanotechnology. What people say doesn't or can't exist, more often than not does. It just exists and works in ways they can't understand. I call this a failure of the imagination to understand the potential for things to be made at such a small scale by the perpetrators, that some people flat out refuse their existence.

This includes the Sun too by the way. According to traditional science nuclear fusion in the Sun is impossible. In reality it happens all the time. This is quantum science: what people say can't happen or doesn't exist actually does. All the time, at smaller scales we can't even see. This is also true at the scale of quantum biology.
