I imagine that, by now, most of you following evolution of our understanding of all manner of things, have realised & acknowledge that virtually nothing is as we’d previously thought.
The distortion & inversion of institutions eg regulators & the industry segment regulated, professions, eg doctors, medical associations, banking, etc is astounding and there seems to be no edge to it, no limit to the extent that powerful people have power over every aspect of it.
I’ve been a fan of several styles of rock, pop, country, punk and particular individuals and bands through all my life since I was a primary school kid.
The reality of the extent to which essentially all those who are household names are steered or controlled is quite shocking, especially if you hadn’t worked out that it more or less had to be so.
If you can choose to shrug at this & continue to enjoy the music, even if it was written by others than what you’ve been led to believe & perhaps in some cases, your favourite band didn’t even play on their recorded tracks, contributing only vocals, then do dig in. Mark Devlin in U.K. and Mike Williams in USA have done some stellar investigations on some bands: origins, image vs reality, the role of ghost writers and the Wrecking Crew of superb studio musicians.
Culture is heavily controlled in The West. It’s way too potent to leave to chance. The perpetrators, having decided that were to be shepherded in particular directions, not only would never leaves this to chance but found ways to utilise the power of popular culture, originally mostly aimed at youth, in order to shape, direct and catalyse more rapid changes in values, beliefs & attitudes than would otherwise have occurred.
If any or all of this is a little too conspiratorial for your tastes, feel free to pass.
Please be aware though that not looking into it in no way makes it go away or to be less effective.

I have spoken to a dear friend this evening who informed me that their elderly father, who resides in a care home, was vaccinated without consent today.
Consent for all vaccines had been explicitly withdrawn.
The aporopriate forms of non consent had been filled in.
Clear instructions were in medical notes and my friend had even written their wishes on the patient notes whiteboard in his father’s room yet still they dared to go against the wishes of both my friend and his father.
The police were called and my friend is pursuing legal action.
I write this to warn those of you with loved ones in care homes to be vigilant.

I’m not a climate scientist but I am a scientist. I know how to read into a new area and how to evaluate when if ever I know enough to begin to take a view. So long as the concepts involved are not too foreign to my understanding of relationships, it is entirely reasonable for someone like me to read / listen to the work of others, plus some reviews, and have a worthwhile understanding of what we know, the areas of uncertainty and what may be said or not at different levels of confidence.
I’m past the point where I am sure that this entire story is got up & there’s no chance of a manmade climate crisis. Not even if we extracted & burned all the hydrocarbon deposits. Oh, and we’re not about the run out of those, either, though proven reserves extractable at what we see are reasonable prices are limited.
Interestingly, the phrase proven reserves is the key one.
It doesn’t mean there aren’t other, as yet undiscovered reserves. Stopping surveying and prospecting has the effect of dropping proven reserves quite quickly.
This short film from a much larger one recapitulates the main findings of the Vostok ice cores.
Note the selection of the date as the baseline against which “global warming” is referenced.
A bad experiment indeed.
