What doctors should really be taught at medical school..

"This [Denis Rancourt's mortality analysis] doesnt mean a virus (detectable with PCR and Antigen tests) isnโ€™t circulating,
It just means people are dying with C19 not from it.

Suppressing Fevers

"In the case of fevers, a long standing belief in the natural medicine community has been that suppressing fevers worsens your bodyโ€™s immune response and its attempts to expel an infection, so the natural medicine field strongly advises against suppressing fevers. This for example was clearly demonstrated throughout the devastating 1918 influenza pandemic and many reports at the time showed it determined if a patient would live or die.

From reading all of these reports, (provided the fever is not too high) Iโ€™ve adopted the practice of instead often encouraging fevers during these types of infections and found it frequently significantly improves how quickly the patient recovers. Furthermore, I also found that for some patients, a significant amount of the discomfort they experience during an illness comes not from its fever, but rather the body struggling to heat itself up to the target temperature needed for the fever. For this reason, I often find (provided the patient is not on the frail end), that to reduce discomfort it is more effective to heat the body up (e.g., with an infrared mat) than it is to use a medicine which suppresses the fever by turning off the bodyโ€™s signal to heat itself up.

However, since the response with a fever reducing medication is immediate and dramatic (thus being something simple to do which showcases the efficacy of pharmaceutical focused medicine), the medical profession has always been attached to treating fevers. In turn, a variety of conflicting data exists on if suppressing a fever worsens the course of an illness or makes it more likely to be transmitted, and as you might expect, whenever data emerges suggesting fever suppression is harmful, itโ€™s repeatedly attacked. For example, this study, this study and this study support my position while this study (from a very orthodox journal) opposes it.

Since there is so much conflicting data, Iโ€™ve gone off my own personal experience where itโ€™s often been quite clear that suppressing fevers worsens the course of these illnesses while doing things like going in a sauna greatly accelerates the speed with which you clear them.

Note: early in the pandemic, the French health ministry warned against using ibuprofen to treat COVID-19 after observing numerous cases where it worsened the course of a COVID-19 infectionโ€”a decision that was repeatedly criticized by the medical community. My own experience matches that of the ministry, as Iโ€™ve seen quite a few patients become much worse after they started a medication to suppress their fever and Iโ€™ve also seen others respond to their bodies being warmed up."

Climate change is real, it's a good thing right now, and we should embrace it: see it as a gift, not fear it.

It is not a result of man's activities: it is simply a cyclical pattern caused by the varying distance of the Earth from the Sun, which affects the cosmic rays and the cloud cover and volcanic activity on Earth.

The Sun is not static, it wobbles near but never at the centre of the Solar System. The orbit of the Earth around the Sun is also not a perfect circle, but elliptical.

Nothing is perfectly regular, equidistant through time, and stable in the Solar System, so why should the climate be unchanging?

An additional example of how people become famous. Itโ€™s never โ€œorganicโ€.
Iโ€™m sad about that, but itโ€™s important to know it, otherwise itโ€™s dead easy to find yourself following pied pipers.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ Israeli-Palestinian Hostilities Erupt

Heavy fighting is taking place between Israeli and Palestinian troops.

Already it appears at least several Israeli positions have been overrun and several Merkava tanks can be seen damaged or destroyed. Rockets from Palestine are hitting military, industrial, and civilian targets in Israel.

Israel is also inflicting heavy damage on Palestinian targets, military & civilian.

Israel persists as an Anglo-American "forward operating base" in the Middle East, a foothold for Western hegemony. It pursues foreign policy objectives at odds with even its own self-preservation.

More importantly, it now does so in an age where the military superiority of the West and its proxies is being nullified. Even as far back as 2006, the illusion of Israeli military superiority was shattered during its disastrous incursion into southern Lebanon vs. Hezbollah forces.

Regardless of the outcome of the current hostilities, Israel's current geopolitical posture is wholly unsustainable. It will need to pivot toward pragmatism internally and regionally.

Saudi Arabia and Iran have already proven that supposedly "implacable" enemies can establish relations and abandon Western-spurred hostilities.

The age where Western military might excused the West and its proxies from sensible/humane foreign policy is over. Israel needs to find another way - its survival depends on it - and those who obstruct Israel's transition toward this new direction pose more of a threat than any external "enemy."

If we get Iran and Lebanon into the war.
Iran is the world's second largest gas reserve, I'll remind you... any war has to be financed. Everybody needs energy. And Lebanon and Iran will raise the price. The rest of the gas producers will look at this and raise their prices.
Europe is the biggest loser in this story.
Don't forget Russia is at war too) and it's a major gas producer too.
You want to fuck up the world economy? Go ahead, but don't cry about it later... because capital doesn't like to reduce its appetite. When Europe can't pay its price for gas, the US will switch to its own population....

Hamas, Israel situation updates

The armed conflict in the Gaza Strip is intensifying, here is a summary of how countries around the world have reacted:

โ–ช๏ธ Iran has voiced open support for Hamas.
โ–ช๏ธ Saudi Arabia and Qatar blamed the events on Israel.
โ–ช๏ธ Russia expressed strong concern and called for de-escalation. Tรผrkiye and Egypt have also urged de-escalation and restraint.
โ–ช๏ธ NATO condemned the Hamas attack.
โ–ช๏ธ The Pentagon said it will try to ensure that Israel has everything it needs to defend itself. Washington is fully on Israel's side over the Hamas situation.
โ–ช๏ธ Germany, France, Italy, UK and other European leaders expressed solidarity with Israel and recognized Israel's right to defend itself. The same statement was made by Ukraine.

The hostilities continue at the moment. According to media reports, Hamas is actively taking hostages for further use in negotiations.

At the same time, the Israeli military has pledged to eliminate all remaining terrorists within the country's territory by the end of the day. A state of emergency has been declared throughout the country.

โšก๏ธ Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict

๐Ÿ’ฌ Russia is gravely concerned over a sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

In this regard we would like to reaffirm our principled and consistent stance that this conflict, which has continued for 75 years, cannot be resolved by force and can be settled exclusively by political and diplomatic means, by engaging in a full-fledged negotiation process based on the well-known international legal framework stipulating the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with a capital in East Jerusalem that co-exists with Israel in peace and security.

โ—๏ธ We regard the current large-scale escalation as another extremely dangerous manifestation of a vicious circle of violence resulting from chronic failure to comply with the corresponding resolutions of the UN and its Security Council and the blocking by the West of the work of the Middle East Quartet of international mediators made up of Russia, the United States, the EU and the UN.

โ˜๏ธ We call on the Palestinian and Israeli sides to implement an immediate ceasefire, renounce violence, exercise restraint and begin, with the assistance of the international community, a negotiation process aimed at establishing a comprehensive, lasting and long-awaited peace in the Middle East.

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ: At this juncture, it seems safe to say this is a well coordinated action that, besides the symbolic act of being on the same date as the Yom Kippur War in 1973, was also timed to strike when the munitions shortage caused by the conflict in Ukraine would most seriously hamper the IDFโ€™s capability to respond.

IF the IDF does enter Gaza in a ground invasion, they will get stuck in urban fighting without the benefit of sufficient heavy munitions to destroy fortified structures. Reading any account of Fallujah or other examples of modern urban combat can quickly inform the reader of just how horrific and casualty intensive that type of combat is for the attacker.

Thus, we can say this is the most obvious example to date of blowback from a country supporting Ukraine, and it doesnโ€™t look set to abate anytime soon.

Andrew Bridgen will be addressing the public on 20th October in Parliament Square, after the debate on excess deaths.

Please gather from 2 PM to support Andrew as it has taken 9 MONTHS for the government to accept this debate and by having it on a Friday afternoon (strategic move by the government) it means it will not be well attended by MPs.

The commons should be FULL with all 650 MPs in attendance!

Write to your MPs to tell them they must attend this debate, you can find a list of MPs emails HERE
