"“Right to strike hard”

"Churchill testified the same. Zionism was embraced because “it was a potent factor on public opinion in America” from which “we gained great advantages in the war.”

But Horace Rumbold, who had been Britain’s ambassador in Berlin for the five years ending with Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in 1933, and who is remembered for his unvarnished warnings of Hitler’s ambitions, asked whether Zionist policy is worth “the lives of our men, and so on.” And did it follow, he asked Churchill, that having “conquered Palestine we can dispose of it as we like?”

Churchill replied to that and similar questions by invoking commitments given when Britain captured Palestine toward the end of 1917. “We decided in the process of conquest of [Palestine] to make certain pledges to the Jews,” Churchill said.

Apparently skeptical, the head of the commission, William Peel, asked Churchill if it is not “a very odd self-government” when “it is only when the Jews are a majority that we can have it.”

Churchill responded with a blunt argument of might: “We have every right to strike hard in support of our authority.”

The historian Reginald Coupland nonetheless told the hearings that the “average Englishman” would wonder why the Arabs were being denied self-government, and why we had “to go on shooting the Arabs down because of keeping his promise to the Jews.”

Peel, similarly, asked Churchill if the British public “might get rather tired and rather inquisitive if every two or three years there was a sort of campaign against the Arabs and we sent out troops and shot them down? They would begin to enquire, ‘Why is it done? What is the fault of these people?… Why are you doing it? In order to get a home for the Jews?’”

“And it would mean rather brutal methods,” added Laurie Hammond, who had worked with the British colonial administration in India. “I do not say the methods of the Italians at Addis Ababa,” referring to Benito Mussolini’s Ethiopian massacre of February 1937, “but it would mean the blowing up of villages and that sort of thing?” The British, he recalled, had blown up part of the Palestinian port city of Jaffa.

Peel agreed, and added that “they blew up a lot of [Palestinian] houses all over the place in order to awe the population. I have seen photographs of these things going up in the air.”

But when Peel questioned whether “it is not only a question of being strong enough,” but of “downing” the Arabs who simply wanted to remain in their own country, Churchill lost patience.

“I do not admit that the dog in the manger has the final right to the manger,” he countered, “even though he may have lain there for a very long time.” He denied that “a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America, or the Black people of Australia,” by their replacement with “a higher grade race.”

One tumultuous decade later, at the turn of 1948, the wholesale ethnic cleansing, expropriation and subjugation of Palestine jumped to full-throttle. Yet Churchill, the great warrior against the horrors of facism and racialism when it concerned Europeans, had not changed his views on the “dogs in the manger.”

In January 1949, speaking to the British parliament, Churchill dismissed the victims of Zionist ethnic cleansing as “Arabs [who] came in [to Palestine] during the period of the 25 years of British administration,” and who were “getting employment under the conditions we created.”

Lest this be dismissed as judging Churchill by the mores of today, it is worth noting comments made by the British Foreign Secretary, Ernest Bevin during the same parliamentary debate. Bevin argued that “the driving of poor innocent people from their homes, whether it is in Germany by Hitler, or by anybody else … is a crime, and we really ought to join together to stop it if we can.”

Challenging the iconography of past leaders is not just to expose their hypocrisy, but to expose ours. Today Britain, and by extension all of Europe, the US and Canada, actively empower the ongoing crimes against Palestinians.

So long as these crimes continue, Churchill’s statue has taught us nothing."

QUESTION EVERYTHING:

'A growing number of reports indicate Israeli forces responsible for Israeli civilian and military deaths following October 7 attack'

"Many details of what transpired on October 7 continue to be shrouded in mystery, including how the 1,400 Israelis who died were killed. A growing number of reports indicate the Israeli military was responsible for civilian and military deaths."

Senior PFLP leader, militant, and political bureau member in #Gaza Dr. Mariam Abu Daqqah was arrested in Marsielle, France, by zionist French authorities on October 16th in an attempt to silence her support and activities for the Palestinian cause. She was placed under a 45 day house arrest, from her 50-day visa, following baseless reports of a "threat to public order."

Mariam has been in France for three weeks to participate in a series of activities and conferences related to the Palestinian cause, such as rallies to support the release of imprisoned internationalist comrade Georges Abdallah.

This comes after 27 members of her family were massacres in IOF airstrikes in recent days. After planning to deport her, the French judiciary rolled back its decision to deport Mariam, but the French state plans to enforce the illegal deportation order. #FreeThemAll

Artist Hiroyuki Hamada writes: "We continue our discussion on the Palestinian conflict; how it’s discussed in the media and dissident communities while the Palestinian cause seems to be wildly supported by many across the globe. What does it all mean in the context of the overall western imperial project?" With John Steppling, Cory Morningstar, Johan Eddebo, Varun Mathur and Hiroyuki Hamada. There is no problem with carbon emissions as CO2 is good for the planet and does not cause warming, however:

"Volvo claims carbon-intensive production for battery and steel makes its C40 EV more polluting to manufacture than an XC40 with a petrol engine

It says at current global electricity mix, it needs to be driven almost 70k miles - 9 years based on average UK mileage - to offset its higher production emissions

This can be reduced to less than 30k miles if EVs are charged with green energy

It has called on world leaders to accelerate the clean energy investment

Swedish maker is publishing emissions transparency reports for all EVs released"

None of this will be new to you, but you may find it helpful to refresh your memory on the key talking points about why retaining cash is so important.

Contactless payments are very convenient. I like tech being used voluntarily to meet a wish or need.

I’m wholly against governments or businesses forcing you to use digital payment methods & restricting or even abolishing cash.

To those who think my & others’ concerns about a control agenda is risible paranoia, ask yourself this. Are you certain that bad actors have not inserted themselves into the governance of Western democracies?
How sure are you that in the future, bad actors won’t have involved themselves in the payment system? I think it’s very likely they’d do so, had they not already done so.

While having a range of payment options is very good, restricting our option to use cash is always bad. It’s none of their business. I don’t insist they use some methods over others. If others don’t want to use cash, that’s fine, provided I can.

If we let cash disappear, it’ll never return, and marks arguably the biggest single change in the way government and citizens interact since the widespread introduction of physical money.

Yet we see evidence all around us that shops are decisively restricting your option to use cash. Ask yourself why this is happening now. Note that the same transition appears to be happening everywhere I’ve been in recent years.

In exchange, we see the proliferation of self service checkouts, each with its own camera and often a screen. A commonplace layout is that the bulk of these self service checkouts are card only. M&S in London Saint Pancras station has ten or so self checkouts, of which one or possibly two accepts cash. I always use cash.

In fact, for physical purchases, I’ve used only cash since January 1st this year. On only on two occasions have I weakened & used a card. One was self-inflicted, in that I’d failed to draw cash and inadvertently run out of it in my wallet!
The other, I needed a brown belt to coordinate with my shoes yet I own only one belt, in black. Most possessions I jettisoned when we left for the US in 2021. I was that day about to be in a setting where I’d be likely to be filmed. I was en route to the venue and there was just time make a purchase in a shop in the railway station. The shop did not accept cash. I chose to buy the item & used a card. The staff member agreed with me that the option to use cash was fundamental, but that head office dictated removal of cash payments.

Later on, I kicked myself. I should have asked courteously if the assistant would be willing to buy the item & then I would pay them cash. Worth a try next time anyway!

Use it or lose it. Retain the option of privacy and a direct transactional relationship with the merchant. No digital ID can be forced upon us in a world in which cash is in widespread use.

Best wishes and thanks for doing something with this.

"Also featured is the number “48”, no doubt a reference to the 1948 Palestinian exodus, which occurred when more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs – about half of pre Palestine war population – fled or were expelled from their homes. The exodus was a central component of the fracturing, dispossession and displacement of Palestinian society, a traumatic and seismic event known as the Nakba." Old news from 2017. How is it possible that a taxpayer funded regulatory agency can be permitted to enter into a business relationship with a private entity, especially one which has invested heavily in products regulated by that agency?

Surely the conflict of interest alarm bells should have been sounding loudly?

I am almost certain Gates also made an investment in or donated money to UK’s medicines regulator, MHRA.

Fewer people know that, as Hedley Rees has recently made us aware, Bill Gates has founded a pseudo global medicines regulatory agency, ICMRA. It’s staffed by people from pharma and from past and even existing senior staff from legitimate regulatory agencies.

I fear they’ll be recognised one day by WHO and no one in the media will divulge that they’ve appointed themselves “World Medicines Regulatory Agency”.

Given Gates, through his eponymous foundation and also GAVI, which he Co-finances, are the single biggest contributors to WHO (or perhaps second only to Germany), Gates the malevolent individual he is, is more or less in charge of global authorisation of vaccines. It’s a very worrying prospect.

Best wishes

Test Kits Will Be Available Next Month to Measure Plasmid DNA in Patients

: "What's the call to action? We've put these primer sequences public, anyone can download them. Anyone can replicate this. If you're not comfortable doing that, we're making some kits to enable this for pathologists. We've been asked for these from blood banks, sperm banks, fertility clinics, people interested in breast milk, transplant organs and biopsies. So there should be about 5,000 of these tests ready in late November. This is a time for us now to get CLIA labs going and to get IRBs in place so we can begin to measure this in patients that have been injured."

I’m very impressed that this group of private individuals have pulled this together.
If they manage to demonstrate plasmid DNA in the bodily fluids of injected individuals, it will be hard to suppress it, because simultaneously, hundreds or even thousands of physicians, pathologists and people would learn about this. Chapeau!

Best wishes

From Catherine Austin Fitts, a series of the best short videos on the problems with CBDC.
They’re excellent.
Monitoring, tracking, regulating, prohibiting and abstracting units of currencies are all within the capabilities of CBDCs.
In the absence of cash, this could be all there would be. It’s terrifying.
Please share.
To those who say “It’ll never happen here, we’re a democracy”, you have to be CERTAIN that at no point in the future will an executive be in place to misuse this technology. You cannot possibly so guarantee.

The moderator of a World Economic Forum energy transition panel asked the audience to raise their hands if they own an electric vehicle. Only four people—less than 5% of the audience—did, once again demonstrating the neo-feudal nature of the WEF's 'Great Reset' agenda.

It's one rule for the peasants, and another rule entirely for the self-proclaimed "elites".
