UK issues D-Notices to suppress reports of SAS special forces operations in Gaza
"Britain’s Conservative government has issued notices to the media to suppress reports of the operations of the Special Air Service (SAS) in Gaza.
On Saturday, the Socialist Worker, newspaper of the Socialist Workers Party, revealed it had been sent a “D Notice” Saturday morning from the Defence and Security Media Advisory (DSMA) Committee requesting it not publish information relating to the operations of the SAS.
D Notices are used by the British state to veto the publication of news damaging to its interests. The slavish collusion of the mainstream media ensures that such notices function as gag orders. A high level branch of the state, the DSMA’s chair is Paul Wyatt, Director General Security Policy at the Ministry of Defence. Other committee members include the Deputy National Security Adviser, Cabinet Office; Director National Security at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; Director National Security at the Home Office; and the Director National Security at the Ministry of Defence.
Britain’s deepening involvement in two NATO-led wars, Ukraine and now Gaza, demands a clampdown on democratic rights, including media freedoms, and censorship of the crimes involved. Yet such is the self-censorship practised by the national media that in most cases the Defence and Security Media Advisory functions only in the capacity of sending out politely worded requests to its Committee members, including the Scottish Newspaper Society, the Press Association, the BBC, ITN, ITV, Sky TV and the Society of Editors."

Israel ramping up gas output, looks to help supply Europe
"ROUTE
Choosing a supply route is challenge which requires navigating the region's politics, but one option would be to export to Europe via liquefaction plants in Egypt and then pipe it north via pipelines which are in various planning stages.
A floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility also being discussed would allow shipments to Europe directly from Israel.
Other possibilities include the proposed Eastmed pipeline, an ambitious and costly project that would connect the gas fields to mainland Europe, or a shorter pipeline to Turkey.
Egypt is the quickest route to Europe, an FLNG would offer independence from any transit country, while a direct pipeline would provide the cheapest end-consumer price but take longer to build, gas consultant Gina Cohen said in a report presented to both Israel's Foreign Ministry and the European Parliament.
"Israel must act as quickly as possible as the window to sign contracts and become a significant gas supplier to Europe will only be opened for a limited time," Cohen said.
Israel, Cyprus and Greece have already signed an agreement to build an underwater power cable linking their electricity grids and offer back-up power during emergencies.
Europe due to the war in Ukraine is looking to halt supply from Russia, provider of about 40% of its natural gas. Russian deliveries last year totalled around 155 bcm.
Israeli gas would help Europe diversify, along with supply from others such as the United States and Qatar."

Israel considering new pipeline to boost gas exports to Egypt
"OUTPUT EXPANSION
Israel's ability to boost gas exports to its neighbours depends however on companies' ability to expand output.
Israel's export capacity is expected to increase to 8 bcm per year by 2023 from the current 5 bcm per year due to the de-bottlenecking of existing infrastructure and the expansion of the giant Leviathan field which is operated by Chevron Corp. (CVX.N) and where Delek Drilling (DEDRp.TA), part of conglomerate Delek Group (DLEKG.TA), holds a 45% stake.
A Chevron spokesperson declined to comment.
Output will rise further when Energean (ENOG.L) starts production from the Karish/Tanin gas field, which is planned for the middle of 2022. Energean also plans to begin in February drilling five new wells that could further boost output in the coming years, the company told Reuters.
"Energean welcomes any new infrastructure that connects the Eastern Mediterranean with Europe," it said in a statement.
The onshore pipeline would not impact Israel and Egypt's plan to construct a second subsea pipeline to supply Egypt's LNG plants of Idku and Damietta from where fuel can be re-exported to Europe and Asia, the sources said."

Dennis Kucinich: " If you are opposed to continued US involvement in wars which are percolating globally and which threaten to ensnare our country, jeopardize our troops and ruin our economy, please read this article.
President Biden and Congress this week, in separate funding attempts, will likely pursue money to fund wars against Ukraine and Gaza, and to intensify further actions which could start wars against China and Iran.
This is a defining moment for Mr. Biden, for Congress, for America and the world. Congress may well split war appropriations into separate bills, but once the spigot is open, more and more money will flow to accelerate the killing.
We are on the offense vs. Russia, and preparing for offense vs. Iran and China. NONE of these nations have forward bases to attack the US.
We have over 800 bases around the world.
We spend close to ONE TRILLION DOLLARS a year, almost half of our discretionary spending for the Pentagon and various intelligence services. We do have the obligation to protect our nation. However, we can’t protect it by actively inciting tensions and pre-emptively bombing Iran, Russia or China.
Such attacks will risk massive retaliatory strikes which would destroy our major cities and kill millions of Americans, no matter how good our defense is. We bombed and killed a million Iraqis precisely because they could not fight back, just as Gazans are being bombed under US supervision. Iran, China and Russia can and will fight back.
America is at greater risk today than ever because our leaders are prepared to gamble with wiping out all history and posterity. Don’t say it can’t happen. American foreign policy is a game of liar’s poker, money piles in and stakes go up. These powers in front of and behind the veil of government, including media pundits and their rhetoric, are betting with our money and our lives.
We have the power to stop wars. Now. Here’s how.
Here are short-term actions that you can take:
1. Contact your Congressional representative in Washington, by phone or email, NOW and tell them to oppose appropriations for war. Give your name and address The U.S. Capitol switchboard number is 202-224-3121.
2. Visit your local congressional office. Ask to meet with the District Director. Tell them you want your congressperson to vote against appropriating money for the wars in Ukraine, Gaza, Iran, Russia or China.
3. Encourage, support and vote for those who oppose money for more war. War is the defining issue of our generation.
4. Be prepared to oppose those congresspersons who support money for more war and don’t be afraid to tell them that.
5. Ask the President and the Congress to support our troops by bringing them home. They are being used as bait. Demand all US troops, Special Forces, naval and air personnel who are stationed proximate to conflict areas outside the US to be brought home.
6. Support humanitarian aid, for food, water, shelter, and medical care to relieve the suffering of people in war-torn regions.
7. Attend rallies in your hometown to express your support for peaceful resolution of conflict at all levels and international diplomacy to settle disputes, before they turn violent.
8. Call the White House at 202-456-1414 and express your opposition to more money for war, or email comments@whitehouse.gov
Now is the time to build a new movement for Human and Ecological Security and Peace. Now is the time to become active, as though your life depends upon it.
It may.

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem: Israeli Shelling of Orthodox Cultural Center Embodies Unjustifiable Targeting of Civilian Infrastructure in Gaza
"The Patriarchate of Jerusalem issued a statement this morning, condemning the Israeli military’s bombardment of the Orthodox Cultural Center in the Tel Al Hawa neighborhood of Gaza earlier today. In this statement, the Patriarchate emphasizes that this attack represents a stark embodiment of Israel’s unwarranted determination to destroy the civil infrastructure and social service centers, as well as shelters for civilians trapped in the besieged enclave. The Patriarchate highlights that social, cultural, and sports centers have become vital providers of essential humanitarian services and safe havens for those affected by Israeli airstrikes targeting residential areas.
The Patriarchate further expressed that this assault on the Orthodox Cultural Center and its service facilities constitutes a direct and unjustified attack on one of the pillars of culture and social services in Gaza.
The Patriarchate also notes with grave concern that the Israeli military has targeted 19 places of worship, including mosques and churches, in Gaza during the past three weeks of the devastating conflict. Such attacks on civilians, particularly children, and the deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure, cannot be justified on rational or humanitarian grounds and are fundamentally at odds with even the most basic moral values.
The Patriarchate reiterates its firm demand for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and pledges to continue its international efforts to achieve this goal as soon as possible.
“In times of crisis and adversity, we turn to the words of Psalms 34:18, which remind us that ‘The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ We pray for peace, justice, and a swift end to the suffering in Gaza,” said the Patriarchate’s statement."

How UK government advisers helped Pfizer win $5.95billion US Covid contract
"At the American end, large sums of money flowed, both directly and via AstraZeneca, to Emergent BioSolutions, a company with a long-standing association with the ASPR Dr Robert Kadlec. More concerningly from the UK perspective, the $1.2billion AstraZeneca Operation Warp Speed contract looks suspiciously as though it was the quid pro quo for a hurried temporary use authorisation for the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA vaccines, the new rapid response ‘plug-and-play’ vaccine platform the US biodefense hawks wanted to modernise vaccine manufacture with.
In other words, the US government largely financed the development of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in return for UK government assistance with Kadlec’s Manhattan Project. It appears that these arrangements were made by the UK Vaccine Taskforce or on behalf of it by members of its expert advisory board set up by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Dr Richard Hatchett, the CEO of CEPI and former director of BARDA was the expert advisory board member best placed to have coordinated this.
AstraZeneca already had skin in the Covid vaccine game. It was an early investor in Moderna and between 2013 and 2019 it built up a 7.65% ownership stake in the company. At some undisclosed point during 2020, as the value of Moderna shares rose, it sold its entire holding for nearly $1billion, a significant profit on its $290million investment. Once the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA vaccine was authorised, an authorisation for Moderna’s mRNA vaccine was a foregone conclusion.
As Hedley Rees, a life sciences manufacturing expert, has pointed out, the MHRA lost the expertise to evaluate drugs in 1995 when the function was centralised via the creation of the European Medicines Agency. Furthermore, he explained that Dr Raine, the CEO of MHRA who sat on the Vaccine Taskforce’s expert advisory board, has no actual experience in drug approvals. She is a post-marketing pharmacovigilance expert. It is now known that the Pfizer product MHRA authorised in December 2020 was not identical to the one tested in the BioNTech sponsored clinical trials. The willingness of the MHRA to accommodate this arrangement was reckless to the point of negligence.
On the day Pfizer agreed its original $1.95billion US Operation Warp Speed deal, Sir Jeremy Farrar, another UK Vaccine taskforce expert adviser, testified before a Parliamentary Committee: ‘I personally think that the most important mortality statistic that needs to be looked at is overall excess mortality. It is the direct effects of Covid and it is the secondary consequences with other people tragically dying as well. Mortality rates are crucial, but I prefer the statistic for looking at that to be overall mortality compared with previous years at this time.’
Well, Sir Jeremy, judging by your preferred metric, overall excess mortality did not increase until after the Covid vaccines you championed were deployed on the all-too-trusting public. They have been and are a disaster. There needs to be a full investigation of the role that you and your fellow Vaccine Taskforce advisers played in making the Covid vaccine Faustian pact."

The Overlooked Miracle Drug for Cancer? Why Big Pharma Fears Fenbendazole
"Fenbendazole has at least 12 proven anti-cancer mechanisms in vitro and in vivo," wrote cancer researcher Dr. William Makis
"So why are there no Fenbendazole clinical trials for cancer? The answer seems rather obvious: it’s very cheap, it’s safe, and it seems to be very effective. Fenbendazole is not going to make anyone rich, and in cancer treatments, that is a non-starter."
"What an enemy of the people," Joe Rogan responded. "They're preventing information and preventing people from using things that save them."

"Israel has clear obligations in relation to its war with Hamas: not just moral obligations, but legal obligations that it has to comply with the laws of armed conflict. It's there in the Rome Statute. It's there in black and white. It's there in the Geneva Conventions. It's there in black and white.
Israel has a professional and well-trained military. They have, I know, military advocate generals and a system that is intended to ensure their compliance with international humanitarian law. They have lawyers advising on targeting decisions, and they will be under no misapprehension as to their obligations, or that they must be able to account for their actions. They will need to demonstrate that any attack, any attack that impacts innocent civilians or protected objects, must be conducted in accordance with the laws and customs of war, in accordance with the laws of armed conflict.
They need to demonstrate the proper application of the principles of distinction, precaution and of proportionality. And I want to be quite clear so there's no misunderstanding: In relation to every dwelling house, in relation to any school, any hospital, any church, any mosque – those places are protected, unless the protective status has been lost. And I want to be equally clear that the burden of proving that the protective status is lost rests with those who fire the gun, the missile, or the rocket in question.
My Office certainly will scrutinise all information we receive in this regard to ensure that the law is not some kind of optional extra that one can take and leave. It is there to bind us together and to keep us away from the gates of hell and further misery. And this principle equally applies to Hamas in relation to firing rockets into Israel, either targeting civilians or knowing they don't have the sophistication to avoid civilian casualties. As I stated just a few days after the events of the 7th of October, my Office has an ongoing investigation with jurisdiction over Palestine that goes back to 2014 and any crimes committed on the territory of Palestine by any party. And this includes jurisdiction over current events in Gaza and also current events in the West Bank. I'm also extremely concerned with the spike, the increase, in the number of reported incidents of attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank. We will investigate these attacks and all further attacks must cease immediately.
My message at this time is a consistent one that I have given in numerous parts of the world. It flows from the common yardstick of legality that we have to enforce, and it flows from the principle that justice is every child's birthright, every civilian's entitlement. The message is that any person with their finger on the trigger of a gun or controls a missile, has certain responsibilities. My Office will look closely to see whether those responsibilities are being adhered to or not.
And in relation to states, I call upon state parties to the ICC and non-state parties to help collectively vindicate the Geneva Conventions, to help collectively vindicate principles of customary international law and also principles of the Rome Statute, to share evidence regarding any allegations or any crimes so that we can properly investigate them and prosecute them as appropriate."

Pioneers of Climate Change Propaganda: The Nazis
"Although we generally think of climate change hysteria as a quintessentially modern phenomenon, this is not in fact the case. Arrogant, dictatorial, totalitarian political elites have been in love with the same basic idea before – the Nazi Party, for instance.
The actual ‘science’ [sic] behind the Nazis’ own version of climate change is completely different from that of our own day – but, strangely, the social and political effects of quasi-enforced mass public belief in the phenomenon were often eerily similar to the kinds of things we can see going on with our own alleged climate crisis today. Personally, I don’t necessarily dispute the basic idea our climate today is changing (it always has), merely the dubious political superstructure subsequently built atop this initial notion.
The Nazi iteration of the same basic scientific scam – in which Hitler himself was a strong public believer – was termed Welteislehre (WEL), or ‘World-Ice Theory’. Significantly, WEL was billed not simply as an ordinary scientific proposal but a full-blown Kosmotechnische Weltanschauung, or ‘Cosmo-Technical Worldview’ – a comprehensive method of viewing the natural world through a highly distorted ideological lens which merged pseudoscience, philosophy, archaeology, religion, mythology, politics and racism into one heady brew of ‘cosmic cultural history’.."

Settler Colonialism
What’s happening today and for the last 100 years in Palestine is consistent with the history of the West for the last 500 years, a reader writes.
"The same people that are remaining neutral today are following in the same tradition as all the people that remained neutral for the hundreds of years in which the Europeans were colonizing the “Americas,” Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia and Africa by exterminating native populations. What’s happening today and for the last 100 years in Palestine is consistent with the history of the West for the last 500 years.
America had an ideology that summed up settler colonialism very well, “Manifest Destiny,” the idea that it was divine providence that white Europeans would bring civilization to the “savages.” In the Declaration of Independence Liberal darling Thomas Jefferson refers to the indigenous nations as “merciless Indian savages.”
What Israel is doing today is a much smaller scale of what the British and Americans did to the indigenous on this continent for 300+ years. What both Zionism and Manifest Destiny have to offer people is the bribe of land and wealth. People have a long history of trading their integrity for a little land and wealth.
This history of white supremacy has been difficult to defeat because it is built on a collaboration between the working class and the ruling class. White supremacy is the most extreme form of cross class solidarity. The Palestinians are waging an anti colonial struggle, that is what so many don’t understand.
Here in California the genocide of the natives has been buried and isn’t taught in schools. The first eight governors supported and funded Indian hunting campaigns from the years 1849-1873. The “Founding Father” of California, the 1st governor, Peter Hardeman Burnett said, “A war of extermination will continue to be waged between the races, until the Indian race becomes extinct.” The next seven governors, including Leland Stanford, the namesake of the famed University, would support extermination policies, Indian hunting campaigns and vigilante violence so the white settlers could “manifest destiny.”
The last thing you need to do is remain neutral. Remaining neutral is a tacit approval of the status quo. It is only through raising our voices that we can effect change. Don’t be afraid of pushback, that means you are doing your job. Be afraid of silent complicity, that means the flame of your soul may be dampened."
