I have written about it in articles and in my books but it's enough here to remember that the crusaders killed Orthodox Christians in the Levante and stole their possessions. Also please see what the Jordanian church has announced lately in relation to canceling all Christmas festivities in support of Gaza (as a whole) and how the cardinal in Jurasalem offered to announce the Muslim call for prayer if it was banned as the Israeli threatened."

The origins of Christian Zionism in America
Since it was first published in 1909, the Scofield Reference Bible has made uncompromising Zionists out of tens of millions of Americans. When John Hagee, the founder of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), said that “50 million evangelical bible-believing Christians unite with five million American Jews standing together on behalf of Israel,” it was the Scofield Bible that he was talking about.
Although the Scofield Reference Bible contains the text of the King James Authorized Version, it is not the traditional Protestant bible but Cyrus I. Scofield’s annotated commentary that is problematic. More than any other factor, it is Scofield’s notes that have induced generations of American evangelicals to believe that God demands their uncritical support for the modern State of Israel.
Central to Christian Zionist belief is Scofield’s commentary on Genesis 12:3: “‘I will bless them that bless thee.’ In fulfillment closely related to the next clause, ‘And curse him that curseth thee.’ Wonderfully fulfilled in the history of the dispersion. It has invariably fared ill with the people who have persecuted the Jew—well with those who have protected him. The future will still more remarkably prove this principle.”
Notwithstanding this more orthodox reading, The New Scofield Study Bible, published by Oxford University Press in 1984, intensified Scofield’s interpretation by adding, “For a nation to commit the sin of anti-Semitism brings inevitable judgement.”
Two years after Scofield’s reported conversion to Christianity in 1879, the Atchison Patriot was less than impressed. Describing the former Atchison resident as the “late lawyer, politician and shyster generally,” the article went on to recount a few of Scofield’s “many malicious acts.” These included a series of forgeries in St. Louis, for which he was sentenced to six months in jail.
Had the Scofield Bible never been published, American presidents influenced by Christian Zionism such as Truman, Johnson, Reagan and George W. Bush might have been less sympathetic to Israeli demands, and consequently more attentive to U.S. interests. Moreover, the American people could have been spared the pseudo-Christian rants of John Hagee, Pat Robertson and the late Jerry Falwell, not to mention the lucrative End Times Rapture “prophecy” peddled by Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye.
"Wheaton College's Institute for the Studies of American Evangelicals estimates that about 30 to 35 percent (90 to 100 million people) of the US population is evangelical. These figures include white and black "cultural evangelicals" (Americans who do not regularly attend church but identify as evangelicals)." If it wasn't for this massive support it's very unlikely America's foreign policy would solely be about protecting Israel.

"To attack and destroy healthcare is to destroy hope, and it is a classic war strategy.
These were the words of world-renowned physician, humanitarian, and activist Dr Mads Gilbert, who is currently visiting South Africa to share his experiences as Israel continues to launch attacks on Gaza.
Gilbert, who was based at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza during previous wars, said Israeli forces are “systematically attacking healthcare in Palestine” and spoke about how there is no proof of there being a Hamas operation centre under the hospital. Last week, Israeli forces raided the hospital, saying they believed there was a Hamas base beneath it.
“The Israeli propaganda machine and mainstream media are completely obsessed with trying to prove that al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City is a Hamas military command centre.
“I have never seen it. My colleagues who have been working there from the international community have never seen it. I have not seen any high-ranking people from the resistance. I have not seen one soldier in the hospital,” said Gilbert, noting that he does not call Hamas a terror group, instead calling it the Palestinian resistance group.
He said that everyone fighting for their lives and doing what they can is part of this resistance.
“The Israeli occupation army is systematically attacking healthcare in Palestine,” added Gilbert.
According to the latest data, there were hundreds of health attacks:
In Gaza alone, there were 152 health attacks, 38 ambulances affected, 16 health workers killed, and 38 health workers injured.
In the West Bank, there were a total of 158 health attacks, 129 ambulances affected, and 22 health workers injured.
There have been nearly 200 healthcare personnel killed in the attacks, including 31 doctors, 68 nurses, 20 paramedics, 26 pharmacists, and 14 lab staff.
There are 36 hospitals in Gaza. On October 8, 34 hospitals were partially functioning and two were not functioning.
However, a month later, on November 14, it was recorded that there were only nine partially functioning hospitals and 27 non-functioning hospitals.
There is almost no primary healthcare system in Gaza.
Gilbert said Israel is committing “humongous war crimes”, saying what they are doing is "mass killing in an industrialised form.”
As of October 8, 12,000 Palestinians were killed (50% of whom were children) and 28,000 were wounded (30% of whom were children).
In a span of only four weeks, 40,000 Palestinians were killed or wounded. This amounts to a staggering 10,000 people per week. But these are not just numbers. They were people, and they had names — a point that Gilbert reiterates.
He called on governments to do more and for citizens to take action where they can and stand in solidarity with those in Palestine.
“South Africa is our hope. South Africa knows about racism and apartheid. The people in Palestine don’t want words; they want food and water. They don’t want promises; they need aid and fuel.”

Gamliel dismissed the suggestion that the Palestinian authority could govern Gaza, instead calling on the International Community to resettle the 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza:
“Some world leaders are already discussing a worldwide refugee resettlement scheme and saying they would welcome Gazans to their countries...This could be supported by many nations around the world, especially those that claim to be friends of the Palestinians.”

Israel is a significant partner for Britain’s NHS, supplying 1 in 7 of all medicines and saving the UK taxpayer billions of pounds. During the COVID-19 crisis public health teams from both countries developed strong working relationships enabling us to share information and strategies. We want to build on these relationships with regular discussions on surveillance and information-sharing so we can create strategies in the areas of early detection and response to public health threats.

"iii. Combatting de-legitimisation: both countries are committed to fighting all forms of antisemitism including in its modern form of de-legitimisation of the State of Israel, as elaborated in the IHRA definition.
d. The UK reaffirms its objection to Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions campaigns. Such campaigns are at variance with UK government policy, and not only unfairly single out Israel and undermine efforts to advance Israeli-Palestinian dialogue and reconciliation, but can contribute to the deplorable rise of antisemitism in the UK. The UK is committed to ending any such campaigns by public bodies, including through legislation.
