As Israel pounds Gaza, BBC journalists accuse broadcaster of bias

In the latest newsroom fallout over the war, BBC journalists say the corporation is failing to humanise Palestinians.

“The BBC has been accused by its journalists of failing to tell the story of the Israel-Palestine conflict accurately, investing greater effort in humanising Israeli victims compared with Palestinians, and omitting key historical context in coverage.

The BBC has failed to accurately tell this story – through omission and lack of critical engagement with Israel’s claims – and it has therefore failed to help the public engage with and understand the human rights abuses unfolding in Gaza,” the letter reads. “Thousands of Palestinians have been killed since October 7. When will the number be high enough for our editorial stance to change?”

Further critiquing the BBC’s storytelling, the journalists argue that while Palestinians have been asked whether they “condemn Hamas”, the same cannot be said for guests who defend Israel’s actions.
“[They] are not equally asked to ‘condemn’ the actions of the Israeli government, however high the civilian death toll in Gaza.”

“For Israel’s bombardment to be considered ‘self-defence’, events must begin with the Hamas-led attack,” they said. “News updates and articles neglect to include a line or two of critical historical context – on 75 years of occupation, the Nakba, or the asymmetric death toll across decades.”

The techno-green agenda has absolutely nothing to do with being green and everything to do with sucking our governments dry of subsidy money before leaving us holding the bag with new, fraudulent infrastructure that doesn’t work and cannot sustain civilization.

Enough is enough. We know what is being done to us, and it is obscene. We are being targeted by the obscenely wealthy for a reduction in our living standards, because we are currently comfortable and relatively wealthy and they want us to be as poor and decrepit as the most impoverished regions of the world. CO2 is a measure of success. All of the most economically successful societies have larger per-capita carbon footprints. CO2 emissions are practically a euphemism for human economic activity.

Imagine if the Overclass were honest. Imagine if they said that we need to reduce the economic activity of the most successful societies on Earth, make everyone wear high-tech ankle monitors, and eat sludge grown in a bioreactor vat. I bet their message would be a whole lot less popular, then."

RIVER OF FREEDOM congratulates incoming government on plans for COVID-19 inquiry

The creators of the RIVER OF FREEDOM film wish to congratulate the incoming government for its promise to undertake an inquiry into the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as a “matter of urgency”. We understand that all COVID-19 vaccine mandates still in operation will be ended, and the inquiry will focus on vaccine procurement and efficacy as well as the use of multiple lockdowns and the social and economic impacts on both regional and national levels, and whether the decisions made, and steps taken, were justified.

"We want to broaden the terms of the COVID inquiry so that it considers more things," incoming Prime Minister Christopher Luxon told reporters today announcing his coalition deal with ACT and NZ First. "It's going to include a range of topics including social but also economic impacts as well."

In December, then Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced a Royal Commission of Inquiry into New Zealand's COVID-19 response, but it was not to include decisions by clinicians, or vaccine efficacy, in its probe. NZ First leader and incoming Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters campaigned on holding a more wide-ranging probe into the pandemic response.

We hope that our incoming coalition government fully accept and acknowledge the negative effects of vaccine mandates enforcing 'No Jab, No Job; the divisive introduction of vaccine passes; and most importantly, the overwhelming number of vaccine injuries and ongoing medical repercussions. These conditions address many of the requests by protestors during their 23 day occupation of Parliament in February and March 2022 as highlighted in the RIVER OF FREEDOM film.

The incoming government has also agreed to repealing the Therapeutic Products Act, and ensuring a ‘National Interest Test’ is undertaken before New Zealand accepts any agreements from the United Nations, and its agencies, which limit national decision-making. The Government will reconfirm that New Zealand’s domestic law holds primacy over any international agreements.

However, it appears that the incoming government has not yet agreed to review the safety of the Pfizer vaccine, or address how the vaccine injured and those mandated out of employment will be compensated. And according to the Coalition Agreement between the National Party and the ACT Party, there is a plan to "liberalise genetic engineering laws".
