Since the beginning of the current stage of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the spring of 2022, American industrial production in the defense and aerospace sector has increased by 17.5%. Thus, Russia is not the only country experiencing a surge in activity in this sector.
Representatives of the Biden administration state that of the $60.7 billion allocated to Ukraine in the additional defense bill, 64% will return to the U.S. defense industry. The State Department recently announced that the U.S. has earned more than $80 billion from major arms supply deals, of which about $50 billion went to European allies. This amount is more than five times higher than the historical norm.

Kremlin reacts to Biden calling Putin a ‘crazy S.O.B.’
The US president has disgraced his country, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
Americans should be ashamed of their leader after their president reportedly called Russia’s Vladimir Putin a “crazy S.O.B.” during a public event, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said. Joe Biden’s alleged name-calling occurred during a fundraiser on Wednesday.
According to US media, Biden singled out the Russian president while arguing that climate change was a worse threat for humanity than a nuclear conflict.
Officials in Washington have claimed that Putin resorted to “nuclear blackmail” when discussing the Ukraine conflict. Moscow has denied this characterization.
“This is a great disgrace for [the US],” Peskov said on Thursday, when asked about the reported incident. “If the president of that nation uses that kind of language, that is shameful.”

Aid workers repeatedly questioned why international law wasn’t being followed or upheld in relation to civilians, humanitarians and medics.
“They also expressed a deep feeling of dread and inevitability of Israeli forces carrying out their threat to escalate the assault into Rafah. A senior aid worker described Rafah as water in the bottom of a glass with the pressure getting more and more intense."
