"Central bank demand, a key driver of gold in recent years, maintained its momentum in Q4 as a further 229t was added to global official gold reserves. This lifted annual (net) demand to 1,037t, just short of the record set in 2022 of 1,082t. Global official sector gold reserves are now estimated to total 36,700t.

Two successive years of over 1,000t of buying is testament to the recent strength in central bank demand for gold. Central banks have been consistent net buyers on an annual basis since 2010, accumulating over 7,800t in that time, of which more than a quarter was bought in the last two years."

It is clear to see from the Prime Minister's speech tonight that the development of the anti-war movement, having grown from strength to strength, has caused mounting fear in the heart of the establishment.

Workers, seeing the limitations of demonstrations, have sought other further avenues of resistance. One is the growth of independent councillor groups - in Newham, Ilford and Liverpool to name but a few. They have shaken establishment faith in Labour's ability to secure the left flank of imperialism. That many are now putting forward parliamentary contenders has deepened the establishment's crisis.

But what were possibilities of disturbing the political status quo on the imperialist home front were last night proven realities. The British working-class, spearheaded by our leader George Galloway's Rochdale victory, have shown they will not be silently complicit in genocide and continue to vote Labour. As such the Prime Minister's comments come as little surprise.

😲 Repeatedly denied using pseudonyms or having a second job after entering parliament and, in 2014, threatened legal action against a constituent who had stated on Facebook that he had. Then, Shapps backed down and admitted he had been lying all along....

Germany has confirmed the authenticity of audio recordings of the German military about Taurus missiles to destroy the civilian bridge in Crimea.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz said the case was "very serious" and would be "quickly investigated".

If the digital ID wallet was not bad enough, it is a very bad sign that Thales Group, a military, defense and security contractor, supports and promotes it.

According to Thales Group website:

“By 2024, all EU member states must make a Digital Identity Wallet available to every citizen who wants one…

Significantly, the EUDI Wallet is not likely to replace the ID documents (digital and physical) that EU citizens currently use but rather provide a convenient digital version of them.”

But do not be fooled, the goal is to make this mandatory. They just have to phase it in first.

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov on the German plot to attack the Crimean bridge:

"We have heard how they are trying to shift the blame to US or British officers who are already there [in Ukraine]. They're trying to avoid being seen themselves. This is the same as when Hollande and Merkel confessed that they would not implement the Minsk agreements. This is just as incriminating," he said.

Throughout Friday, all German departments and ministries remained stubbornly silent in response to requests for comment concerning a leaked conversation between German officers discussing a possible attack on the Crimean Bridge, although in other circumstances this news should have had the effect of a bomb exploding, the Berliner Zeitung writes.

“There are events where a political interpretation appears almost simultaneously with the event, sometimes even earlier. And there are events that, it would seem, should have the effect of a bomb exploding, but then nothing happens for hours,” it argues.

After the publication of the officers’ recordings, journalists sent dozens of requests for comment to the Foreign Ministry, the Bundeswehr, the Ministry of Defense and a number of “hawks” from German politics, such as the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann (FDP).

“The only statement we received was made by Sevim Dagdelen, a member of the Bundestag and a member of the Wagenknecht group,” reports the Berliner Zeitung. In this response, a deputy from the SSV (Sarah Wagenknecht Union - For Reason and Justice) party, which criticizes the supply of arms to Ukraine, called for transparency in the issue of the published recording.

CRIMEAN BRIDGE

The Crimea bridge is one of the largest works of CIVILIAN infrastructure of Russia. It cost ₽227.92 billion (US$3.7 billion) and has a length of 19 km (12 mi), making it the longest bridge in Europe.

The fact that the Germans were planning to blow it up, and are now reverting to blaming the British will not go down well in either Moscow or London. Washington will love it all.

All of this is happening to destroy the Euro and profit from arms sales. The hope is to achieve regime in change in Russia so as to Balkanize it further and plunder it. It is probably all directed by the WEF/NATO.
