The poll tax was the excuse they needed. The real reason they got rid of Thatcher was her stance against EU integration. She opposed giving up sovereignty to Brussels and wouldn’t support the direction leading to the Maastricht Treaty.
She clashed with many in her cabinet like Geoffrey Howe. Once he resigned, the plot to remove her was put into place - Major took over and signed Maastricht. It was always about Europe not the poll tax. Edward heath was a known pedo by the intelligence agencies … if they want you out you will be out on your arse pretty quickly.

California discovered a loophole — for every $1 they spend, they can trigger $9 from the federal government. They're manipulating this to effectively launder money. Here's how:
Through this setup, California has funneled almost $4 billion into providing Medicaid for illegal immigrants. $4 billion — that's outrageous. To put it into perspective, the amount of federal money flowing into California through this scheme exceeds what the entire state of Florida spends annually in its full budget. It's ridiculous.
This needs to stop. California is siphoning off federal tax dollars and rubbing it in our faces by using those funds to cover benefits for illegal immigrants and incentivize more to come.

It’s also about Trump looking to impose a tax on remittances from illegals sending money back to their home countries, viz the Mexican President Sheinbaum (sic) talking “mobilising” just the other day because some $60B enters the Mexican economy that way each year. As always, follow the money, not just with dodgy NGO’s but at every damn level, the US tax payer is funding some rort or other, in this case propping up the economies of the same failing countries from which these so-called “refugees” and “undocumented migrants” fled 👌
