🎥 Irish singer-songwriter Hozier has continued to spotlight Palestinian rights during his US tour. During his recent Seattle show, he emphasised that a just and peaceful world requires a free Palestine able to pursue meaningful self-determination and statehood, drawing loud support from the crowd.

His remarks followed a similar call at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco earlier this month, where he urged for a ceasefire in Gaza and reflected on the historical parallels between Ireland’s fight for independence and the Palestinian struggle. Known for blending soulful music with social and political commentary, Hozier has consistently used his platform to advocate for human rights.

Since October 2023, Israeli forces have killed 61,827 Palestinians and wounded 155,275 others.

According to the UN human rights office, at least 1,760 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid in Gaza since late May.

The health ministry puts the figure higher, at 1,898, and says more than 14,113 others have been injured while trying to access aid.
