🔥🔨 UK parliament slams Palantir's 'vendor lock‑in' with $444M NHS data contract

A parliamentary committee report rips into the US tech giant for having too much influence in British government systems, warning the UK is dangerously reliant on a handful of American firms.

The 70‑page report singles out Palantir's work with the US military, immigration enforcement, and Peter Thiel's Trump support + anti‑NHS views as a "clear mismatch with UK values."

"The government's ambitions could be derailed at any time by a decision taken outside our shores based on the narrow interests of a foreign commercial or state actor," the report read.

The committee urges the government to use a break clause on the seven‑year NHS data contract – warning that the plan to save $60 billion annually through digital transformation is "worryingly optimistic."

💵 Thiel's company holds $820 million in UK contracts. It now controls NHS patient records, Ministry of Defence operations, police intelligence databases, and even Britain's nuclear weapons systems.
