A new GTA 6 Welcome page appears to some users when they turn on the PS5, as part of the partnership between Sony and Rockstar.
They’re really treating this game like a first-party title.

Grand Theft Auto Vl arrives November 19, 2026.
@Rockstargames sets @PS5app preload for November 12 and presents the game as a massive single-player release with no loading screens on Sony's console.
The physical edition is also described as shipping without a disc, pushing the package toward collector branding instead of offline ownership.
The $99.99 Ultimate Edition reportedly locks five in-game stores behind its premium tier. That pricing and content split positions GTA 6 as a major software launch and a high-stakes monetization test before release.

Xbox Series consoles will increase again: +$100 for the 512GB versions and +$150 for the 1TB versions, starting August 1st.
The 2TB version will also be discontinued.
There’s gonna be more shortage and price hikes as we approach the launch of GTA 6, so it’s better to get your console sooner rather than later.
(Just get PS5 pro)

PlayStation is placing GTA 6 ads everywhere:
- A special animation plays when you open your ps5
- You receive a notification to pre-order the game
- They changed the app logo to match the GTA 6 theme
- New marketing slogan “Plays Best On PS5” and the game is on the store’s front page
- They changed their social media accounts banner
Never seen them do this amount of marketing even for first-party titles like Wolverine, which indicates how big the marketing deal they signed with Rockstar.
