๐ค Description:
Fieldwork Support Scholarship (Deadline: November 28, 2026)
Who Can Apply:
Students often face many unseen battles and have to fight hard every day to show up with heart and purpose.
On top of the invisible or unknown struggles that students are enduring, there are the typical difficulties associated with the financial burdens of college. Any undergraduate student entering their final semester of Panola Collegeโs OTA program in Texas may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have financial need. However, those who are parents or primary caregivers, those with a lack of family or parental support, and applicants with inconsistent housing or transportation are preferred.
Submission: To apply, tell us about your life circumstances, how these experiences have impacted your journey in the OTA program, how this scholarship would help you during the fieldwork process, and what motivates you to continue pursuing occupational therapy. Also include your student ID number.

๐ค Description:
Erica Payne Memorial Scholarship (Deadline: April 17, 2027)
Who Can Apply:
Erica Payne was a beloved friend whose life was cut short due to unhealthy relationships with men.
Growing up in the rural Midwest, girls are taught from a young age to seek validation by putting a man at the center of their focus. Who Can Apply:
Michele L. Durant was a beloved mother, wife, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend who passed away from uterine cancer on August 14, 2019.
She lived a full life as a black woman in the United States Air Force and was known as a โforeverโ student. This is in part due to a greater wage gap for black women post-college accompanied by having fewer mentors in high-paying fields and positions that share their demographic.
This scholarship aims to monetarily assist women of color in pursuing higher education to free up their time and resources and allow them to focus on obtaining leadership roles and effecting necessary change.
