OmegaClaw began as a Claw implementation built around SingularityNET's technology. As the project developed, the focus shifted toward the agent itself, including how it retains experience, continues operating over time, and develops an understanding of its user, its environment, and itself.
We look at the project's progression from MeTTaClaw through OmegaClaw to Omega, what months of running Eray Index, the first Omega-based agent, taught us, and how Omega has become a place to develop and connect different parts of our AGI stack.

Decentralized AGI needs purpose-built infrastructure that delivers secure interoperability, scalable and customizable consensus, and privacy-preserving peer-to-peer networks for data indexing and exchange, compute brokering, and agentic AI.
On Tuesday, September 22, at 5 PM UTC, we will be joined by Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of the ASI Alliance and SingularityNET, and Greg Meredith, CEO of F1R3FLY․io, to discuss how ASI:Chain has been designed to meet these requirements and our long-term vision for the network.
During the session, you will learn:
• The vision and motivation behind building ASI:Chain, and how it combines SingularityNET and F1R3FLY technologies to meet the infrastructure demands of the AGI era.
• How ASI:Chain was designed to support high-throughput parallel processing, cryptographically secure data isolation, and formally verified code safety for AI-driven workloads.
• How ASI:Chain serves as the dedicated blockchain runtime environment for Hyperon’s cognitive stack, maintaining high-integrity, auditable records of all cognitive transformations and transactions.

Registration for HyperSprint #2 is now open. This second edition of our build event brings the community together to build applications, tools, and learning resources for Omega.
Omega is our agent framework built around long-term memory, advanced reasoning, and continuous learning. Participants can explore new use cases, develop specialized agents and agent networks, extend existing community projects, or create resources that help others get started with the framework.
Mentorship and sponsored Singularity Compute LLM credits will be available to support development. Ahead of the sprint, the Omega Builders session on September 25 at 2 PM UTC will offer an opportunity to discuss ideas and technical questions with HyperSprint mentors and fellow builders.
Explore the HyperSprint #2 tracks, view the schedule, and register to participate: https://bgicommons.org/hackathons/hypersprint-2-omega

Since our last update, our team has continued working to protect the community and resolve the impact of the recent security incident. Here's where things stand across affected tokens:
- FET: FET is unaffected by the incident. Token minting controls were not affected, and FET held in your own wallets is not at risk. We're asking exchanges to resume FET deposits and withdrawals on Ethereum.
- AGIX: Our legacy token, AGIX is being retired following the security incident. A replacement token will be issued for affected holders, with details to follow. AGIX on Ethereum remains paused.
- Other affected tokens: We're working with other affected teams on next steps.
We'll continue to keep you informed as things progress. Thank you for your patience and support through this.

Most modern neural networks are trained using backpropagation, but it is not the only way they can learn. Within our AGI research program, we are investigating how predictive coding's architectural flexibility and local learning rules could help mitigate catastrophic forgetting, support decentralized training, and enable more energy-efficient computation.
On Tuesday, October 13, at 5 PM UTC, our host, Haley Lowy, will be joined by Matt Iklé, Matthew Behrend, and Guilherme Lamacie to discuss:
• The scientific motivations behind our predictive coding research, the approaches under investigation, and their potential contribution to AGI.
• The relationship between predictive coding and backpropagation, and how different learning mechanisms could support neural-symbolic architectures.
• Open research questions, priorities for further experimentation, and opportunities to contribute through FabricPC.

Following our previous update on the retirement of the legacy AGIX token, we are launching a portal where holders can check their addresses and recorded balances before the claim process opens.
This review is for holders who held AGIX on Ethereum, Cardano, Polygon or Arbitrum at the snapshot cutoff of 20 September 2026 at 03:13:23 UTC, before the unauthorized AGIX tokens were created. The portal lists the snapshot block number for each blockchain. Only AGIX holdings recorded at the snapshot cutoff are eligible for the claim.
Check your address and balance here: https://snapshot.singularitynet.io/agix-hardfork-2026/
The initial review period begins today and runs until November 3rd. If your address is missing or your recorded balance appears incorrect, please contact support@singularitynet.io. Our team will investigate reported discrepancies and correct verified omissions or errors. You can continue to report issues after the initial review period ends.
Following the review, we will announce when the claim portal will open and explain how to claim your balance. We will share the opening date once confirmed. There will be no deadline to claim.
Stay safe: use only links shared through our official channels. We will never contact you first via DM, ask for your seed phrase or private keys, or ask you to send tokens to make a claim.
