Happy Eid al-Adha 10-13 Dhul Hijjah 1446 Hijri (6-9 June 2025) for all of my Muslim friends who are celebrating! ☪️
"A modern State cannot make atheism or religion one of its political ordinances. The State, while distancing itself from all extremes of fanaticism or secularism, should encourage a harmonious social climate and a suitable legislation which enables every person and every religious confession to live their faith freely, to express that faith in the context of public life and to count on adequate resources and opportunities to bring its spiritual, moral and civic benefits to bear on the life of the nation."

~ Pope John Paul II
Why is my first video on BitView not showing up? BitView says it's being processed but it's been more than a day and it's still the same. Have any of you who have uploaded videos to BitView ever experienced the same problem?
Don't fight bullying by bullying, don't bully the bullies. If so, you are the same as the bullies and you don't solve the roots of the bullying. If it continues what happens? Cycle of bullying, the victim becomes the perpetrator. Then what should we do? Don't do bullying!
Don't forget to do your Duolingo.
I love old documentaries.
Happy World Refugee Day, 20 June, 2025. 2025 Theme: "Solidarity with refugees". This theme reaffirms that the lives of refugees are as important as those of the citizens of the country from which they seek refuge. We must have empathy for refugees, wherever they come from.

Currently, more than 120 million individuals have been forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, violence or human rights violations. This includes: 42.7 million refugees, 73.5 million internally displaced people, 8.4 million asylum seekers and 5.8 million people in need of international protection.

Solidarity with refugee is a kindness. Their life is not easy and unstable, we should welcome them and help them as much as we can to rebuild their life. We can all become refugees if our situation in our country forces us to leave our country. Be grateful if we are not like that.

I personally hope that more countries will become parties to the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol. This is so that there is awareness and responsibility for refugees.

Together with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), let us stand together in solidarity with refugees wherever they are. They need to be protected. They need shelter, access to clean water, health care, education, and jobs. They need a fair chance. Together we can rebuild their lives.

Based on the current situation of the wars in the Middle East, the world is now on the brink of World War III. This is certainly totally unacceptable and very scary for the international community, especially for those who live in and/or near the region. PLEASE do not fall for any narrative that sympathizes, supports or even calls for war there. The whole world is affected by this. We hope that these wars will de-escalate and not spread beyond the region, anything can happen after that.
Ugh, many of Indonesian-based Facebook groups disappeared, mostly political groups. Aren't you annoyed too, my Indonesian friends?
The rainbow flag with the emblem of the United Nations (UN) superimposed in the middle of it. This flag represents the UN's commitment to promoting and protecting LGBTQ+ rights because LGBTQ+ rights are human rights. We all need to know and understand this! 🇺🇳🏳️‍🌈

Since its founding in 1945, the UN had not discussed LGBTQ rights until 1994 through the favourable resolution of the Toonen v. Australia case by the UN Human Rights Committee declared that laws criminalizing consensual same-sex relations between adults are in violation of international human rights law.

After that, the UN slowly made more and more efforts regarding LGBTQ+ until now. Year after year, many UN member countries are also making good contributions to LGBTQ+ in general. You see, as of 2025, same-sex marriage is legally performed and recognised in 38 UN member states.
If the United Nations itself supports LGBTQ+ rights, why can't its member states do the same or even us as individuals? Attitudes take time to change. Policy changes can take even longer. Together with the United Nations we all shall promote and protect LGBTQ+ rights.
لا ينبغي أن يكون مفاجئًا بالنسبة لي أن أتعلم اللغة العربية لأنني من أصل عربي. يسعدني أن أعرف ذلك.
