This is a map of summary of statewide results of the 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024 United States presidential elections by state.
- Red means won by the Republicans in all four elections (22 states).
- Pink means won by the Republicans in three of the four elections (5 states).
- Purple means won by each party twice in the four elections (3 states).
- Light blue means won by the Democrats in three of the four elections (1 state).
- Blue means won by the Democrats in all four elections (19 states).
It should be remembered that the United States presidential election is an indirect election where the citizens of the United States choose the electors or the members of the Electoral College. These electors then cast direct votes, known as electoral votes, for president and for vice president. The candidate who receives an absolute majority of electoral votes (270 out of 538) is then elected to that office.

I personally oppose the existence of the Electoral College because it does not always reflect the popular vote or the will of the people. It would be much better if this institution were abolished. But as long as that has not happened, we can only hope for the strength of the campaign from the party and its politicians, which they may not be able to keep their campaign or promises to the people.
Who would have thought that the year 2025 will mark 1,700 years since the First Council of Nicaea. Opened in May and closed in July 325 by the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, it was the first ecumenical council in Christian history to produce a statement of belief or creed that, finalised by the First Council of Constantinople in 381, has become the universal foundation of Christian faith that must be accepted by all who profess to be Christians.
Seeing the tension in relations between the United States and Venezuela, I want to say don't let Venezuela become the second Iraq.
