Sad, President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro and his wife Clilia Flores have been kidnapped and flown out of Venezuela by the United States on 3 January, 2026. It happened during many airstrikes in northern Venezuela, including the capital city Caracas. The operation carried out by the U.S. Army's Delta Force.
Those attack happened in the early hours of 3rd January local time. President of Colombia Gustavo Petro was one the first leaders to speak out about this. He posted a series of statements on Twitter or X including a list of places that have been attacked and also have stated Colombia's position.
This is a serious violation of international law and there is no legal basis for the United States to do that. This act violated the article 2 paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter to not use "force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state", in other words, this is a crime of aggression.

President of the United States Donald Trump said that they will indefinitely run Venezuela until the so-called 'judicious transition'. It includes the authorisation of their oil companies to take over Venezuela's oil. Once again, American imperialism shows its evil.
If the United States does not suffer the consequences of this attack then other countries could follow the act and further undermine international law. It could also further weaken the UN Security Council as they are supposed to prevent another world war.
Their very dark objective of this attack is none other than to seize Venezuela's resources, particularly its oil, as Venezuela holds the largest proven oil reserves at over 300 billion barrels or around 17 to 20 percent of global reserves. This has nothing to do with their fallacious narrative of drug trafficking from Venezuela.
Those who celebrate the terrorist and fascist act that the United States has just committed, can only do so from the hatred that clouds their judgment. No one who is even minimally informed can ignore or underestimate the serious implications of such criminal acts for regional and global peace.
In accordance to article 51 of the United Nations Charter, Venezuela reserves the right to legitimately defend and protect its people, its territory, and its independence. All Venezuelan people shall rise up against this and the entire country shall mobilise to defeat this imperialist aggression.
Peoples and governments of the world, let us mobilise ourselves and show our support in active solidarity for the Venezuelan people. May Goddess protect the Venezuelan people and the Latin American people. Free Venezuela!

This year’s theme is about "dialogue over division". You know that dialogue does not mean we must agree on everything, but we listen with care, speak with responsibility, and recognise each other’s humanity. Especially when we feel afraid, angry or uncertain.
With that being said, it means we also reject all kinds of discrimination, especially racism, xenophobia, and hate speech. Differences can be discussed without having to end in harm, we can create many safe spaces for it, whether offline or online. It starts with ourselves.
Our fraternity begins in everyday life. Small good things, if repeated every day, done by everyone, society will surely become better. We cannot live alone, we always and will always need other people. May we always be aware of this.

Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba, must be defended at all costs, its independence and sovereignty. As the only fortress of socialism in the western hemisphere, its existence is highly important for the struggle of the working class throughout the world, particularly in the western hemisphere, especially in Latin America.
For years, decades, Cuba has always been under constant threats and pressure by the imperialist and fascist power of the United States of America. The economic, commercial and financial embargo by America since 1960s is not something small. It has been enough suffering for the Cuban people, the world recognises that.
However, throughout that time, Cuba has survived, and will continue to survive. Not just surviving, Cuba has made a lot of progress in their society, a sharp difference from before the revolution. This small island nation has shown the world that socialism has triumphed, that the people united will never be defeated.
The struggle of the Cuban people, led by the Communist Party of Cuba, will always continue. Even though Fidel Castro has left us forever, the ideas of the Cuban communists will remain, as proof that on this planet, if one works with fervour and dignity, one can produce the material and cultural goods that human beings need, and we must fight relentlessly to obtain them.
