This is a poster of the 12 imams of the ahl al-bayt in the tradition of Twelver Shi'ism, the largest branch of Shia Islam. According to them, the imams are holy and infallible, free from all mistakes and sins, and are the spiritual and political successors of the Prophet Muhammad.
I want to say that I believe in the 12 imams but I myself do not make them the only guide to my Islam. Honestly, this is not new, in fact it has been around for a long time. I shouldn't be writing this but this is to answer those who used to misunderstand my Islam.
People may say that I am a Shiite Muslim and not a Sunni Muslim, that I follow Shia Islam and not Sunni Islam. Well, that is not correct because I identify myself as a Muslim and a Muslim is a Muslim, whatever sect or denomination they follow. This must be understood.

There is no religion whatsoever which does not have smaller sects or denominations within it. Therefore, no matter how many branches of Islam there are, Islam is one, Islam is Islam. Am I a Shiite Muslim? Am I a Sunni Muslim? What if I tell you I'm both?
I know and understand that truth can come from anywhere, not just from the 12 imams. Following them does not directly make faith stronger, because faith returns to each individual. Also, if holiness is real, it is not only the Prophet Muhammad and his ahl al-bayt who are holy, everyone can be holy.
For those who are surprised, remember, this writing will not be able to describe entire my religion or beliefs because my own religion and beliefs are broad and complex. But indeed, I am a Muslim, that my religion is Islam, whatever how I follow Islam.

Kadang-kadang bacalah kitab-kitab kuno, apa saja, agar pemikiran kita lebih luas. Menyenangkan mendapatkan kebijaksanaan dari itu.

Friday prayer (ṣalāt al-jumuʿa) by Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on Friday, 27 March, 1981 (Jomeh, 7 Farvadin, 1360 Solar Hijri or Jum'ah, 21 Jumada al-Awwal, 1401 Hijri). It was raining at that time. As you can see, some children give some gifts to Ayatollah Khamenei after the prayer.
For my Sunni Muslim friends who may not be too familiar with the practice of Friday prayer in this video, this is as in the Ja'fari madhhab, one of the several Islamic schools of law. It's really nice to see this, may they all be blessed including Ayatollah Khamenei.

The chairperson of the Kuomintang (KMT), Cheng Li-wun, with the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and also the President of People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, in Beijing, on Friday, 10 April, 2026.
Madame Cheng is the highest-ranking Taiwanese leader to meet President Xi since President Ma Ying-jeou, who was also the Chairperson of the Kuomintang, met him in Singapore in 2015. Indeed, this meeting a very considerable meeting, the first in a decade.
President Xi stressed that no matter how the international landscape and the situation across the Taiwan Strait may evolve, the overarching trend toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will not change. In other words, China is one.
Madame Cheng also praised the remarkable achievements of China under the leadership of President Xi and reaffirmed the importance reconciliation, that it is a responsibility to prevent war and to maintain peace across the strait.

Given that the Kuomintang has historically always tried to maintain relations with the CPC, my personal hope is that the Kuomintang can win the 2028 Taiwanese Presidential Election, so that both the mainland and Taiwan may re-establish official communications, after it was cut off in 2016.

Jane Birkin (14 December, 1946 - 16 July, 2023), English-French actress, singer, model, and designer. She was one of the French fashion icons, especially in 1960s. Originally from England, she then moved to France and became a cultural symbol for both countries and the world. As an icon of "French girl" aesthetic, she was, and still, a source of inspiration for the chic, sophisticated, and effortlessly cool stereotypical image of French girls, for example her bangs. She had a prolific career in cinema, appeared in more than 70 films in various genres.
Her story with the legendary and highly controversial French singer-songwriter, Serge Gainsbourg was something that defined her. They met in 1968, on the set of the film "Slogan", Jane at 22 and Serge at 40, marked the beginning of their 13-year iconic relationship until 1980. At the film's premiere in 1969 with Serge, she was wearing a mini dress that, without her really realising it, was very transparent, which made her nipples visible especially with the flashes from many cameras. She told Vogue “I didn’t realise [the dress] was so transparent..."
It is important to remember that her success as a singer cannot be separated from Serge, in large part due to the erotically-charged song “Je t’aime… moi non plus" that he originally wrote for Brigitte Bardot. The song even got banned in several countries, haha. Relationship with Serge was not always that lovely, lots of drama because Serge was "a very difficult man to live with", said Jane, thus why they separated for his toxic relationship. Although not married, however, they had a daughter, Jane's second child, Charlotte Gainsbourg.
However, even so, she said "If you knew him you would have loved him. He was so funny ...with his bulging eyes... absolutely irresistible." Well, it was the reality. It's impossible to think of her without him, and also with that cult-like orgasmic, full of moans song, really. She was almost a one-hit wonder but apparently not like that. I myself know more about her films than her songs. They are very unique and in various genres. Try these if you are new: "Wonderwall" (1968), "Slogan" (1969), "La Piscine" (1969), and "Jane B. for Agnès V." (1988).
Although I personally think that her public image was sometimes too exaggerated, mostly because of Serge, she is one of my inspirations. Apart from that, she was also kind, an activist since her days in London, supporting immigration, environmental, women's, and LGBTQ+ rights. Jane ever said “My look is a cocktail, I’m not as nicely turned out as the French, but I don’t care like the English." Jane is that one "je ne sais quoi" girl, aesthetic, nonchalant, mysterious, but loved by many people. In this photo Jane Birkin was photographed in 1969.
