I understand it gets a bit tough to express your thoughts in writing and that is exactly what is tested in ESSAY paper by UPSC.
- How well you can articulate?
- How well can you express yourself on paper
- How is your understanding of the world around you
- How well can you analyse a situation
Apart from static books, your understanding as a human being is also tested here that's why there is no BOOK to study for ESSAYS.
I am sharing an architecture of today's essay along with SuperKalam's model answer to help you all.

β Essay Writing
We have been writing essays since our school days. So, we know how to write an essay but why UPSCβs Essay paper is different?
Because, here you need to articulate your thoughts on deep topics both philosophical and current affairs oriented.
And not just articulate but write it down in 1000-1200 words.
β Here, I have tried to simplify essay writing in the easiest manner possible: https://youtu.be/jWHGv1iq9m0?si=xxNgHvrr1fTwrxZj

I have a lot of feedbacks to share but this one stays close to my heart. he has been a working professional and yet when he became disciplined & consistent in his journey, the confidence increased.
After taking back to back batches I have realised how my own experience as a teacher has enhanced. From being there for my warriors right from 7 am in the morning to taking Doubt Resolution sessions, doing LIVE answer writing and case study solving exercises, we have been preparing for not just Prelims or Mains but also building up our persona to be a civil servant.
And now me and Vimal Sir are starting with two new batches containing 1:1 Personal Mentorship -
- FOCUS Batch for UPSC 2025
- FOCUS Batch for UPSC 2026 (for working professionals too)
I also forgot to share that today is the last day of Kalam Week (where we were celebrating Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir) hence today will be the last day of getting 30% scholarship on the FOCUS batches.
