You got to be honest with people. Just don't gaslight them.

The Iran conflict has caused fuel prices to go up. Just acknowledge that.

People are not happy with their economic situation.

You can look at the capex that Big Tech is spending. It's contributing to GDP.

Is that something that's being felt by the average American? Not really.

We need a shift in the underlying dynamics before Republicans could really even talk about being viable in 2028.

I'm kind of beyond the gaslighting and trying to say that Democrats can never win and we're just so much better.

"They're socialists." They played that card throughout this midterm, and it didn't work.

The idea that we're going to go in, any Republican, without a change in the underlying political climate, and do well in a national election—that is not in the cards unless we start to improve the situation.

Let's just be very clear: if we're getting blown out in Texas, how does a Republican have any chance at winning the Electoral College?

That's just the reality that I think everyone needs to face. And that's something that obviously I'm thinking of.

Chuck Schumer is actually not a bad guy. I know him very well, better than most.

There’ll be a point at which the people are unhappy, there’ll be change, but unfortunately, usually, that happens so late that you’ll never be able to bring back a city or a country or a state.

I watched the election in Los Angeles. It was a very disgraceful event. Because I thought Spencer Pratt would be in the final... they found the votes necessary to bring Nithya Raman in.

Our elections are so crooked, you have no idea.

Pete Hegseth has done a fantastic job.

You know, we had more generals than we did in World War II. We had so many generals. Everybody was a four-star general. I never saw anything like it.

And many of those people were woke. I don’t like a woke general.

I don't know if it's a war because there hasn't been anybody killed in many months, but we have a war with a place called the Islamic Republic of Iran — lovely place.

Nobody’s been killed in about seven months, six months.

And you know, if you look at Russia, Ukraine, see, that’s a war. 25,000 people being killed a month. That’s war.

Somebody said a "war with Iran." No.

I think it's working out very well.

It is virtually an occupation and we're not looking to be wise guys but it is an occupation.

I would rather not destroy the rest of the country if possible, but maybe I’ll have to.
