The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has re-advertised 1,631 promotional vacancies for serving teachers seeking appointment to school administrative positions in public primary and secondary schools.

The vacancies comprise 1,470 positions of Deputy Headteacher II, 132 positions of Deputy Principal III and 29 positions of Senior Master II.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) tutors have issued the Ministry of Education with a 21-day ultimatum to address concerns relating to curriculum changes, student assessments, medical cover and the transfer of tutors.
