Project Aion is Microsoft's experimental AI operating system
A video has been leaked in BetaWiki's Discord server, which was recorded sometime in 2024, suggesting that Microsoft has explored a dedicated AI OS.
Project Aion uses Win3 and the Edge browser, and the UI is centered on Copilot. There is a Copilot-based start menu, and an input box where you can search files, launch apps and browse the web.
The taskbar has a "Spaces" feature which groups open apps together. Aion is built around the web and does not run native Windows apps. There's probably also a version of Aion running on top of Windows 11, which supports native Windows apps.

RIP OxygenOS and RealmeUI
Since OnePlus and Realme are being fully consolidated into the core OPPO brand, the Oplus group's next big move is software, not hardware: one Android skin across 3 brands, no exceptions.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, OxygenOS and Realme UI are being Discontinued in favour of ColorOS and going forward it will now be present on all OnePlus and Realme smartphones.
OnePlus website atleast in Germany, France, Spain etc now advises users to check Oppo products and is even offering coupons to users if they buy Oppo products.
OnePlus is narrowing its focus to its two biggest markets, India and China. Realme is winding down its China business to concentrate fully on markets outside it. OnePlusโs after sales support in India has already been folded into OPPOโs service network and most of the OnePlus Store have also been shut down in India.

1) Conversion Process
Users insert a compatible disc, install, and launch the game. The digital license attaches to their Microsoft account. If the physical disc is sold or lent, the license transfers to the new owner upon launch.
2) Compatibility
Digital versions function like Microsoft Store purchases. Xbox Play Anywhere titles will be available on PC and handhelds. Game Pass subscribers can access copies via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Multi-disc editions and console bundles retain all bonus content. Note that some older Xbox One discs may not be supported depending on manufacturing date.
Microsoft has not yet decided if the next generation console, codenamed Project Helix, will include a disc drive.

What started off as a simple codebase update for latest dependencies and rust edition has evolved into something much more.
This is mtklogo, a tool to unpack and repack your logo images. One can use this to modify their logo partition to have a different boot logo (and more).
Key features of this fork include:
- A codebase that is updated to the latest rust language standards.
- Memory unsafe bugs have been fixed.
- All code warnings fixed.
- Supports both legacy and modern logo partitions.
- An issue that exists on practically all logo modifying programs which breaks image rendering is fixed here.
- Supports both legacy and extended (modern) headers.
- Generates a bit-perfect replica of the stock logo image if a simple unpack and repack is done with zero changes.
- Performance improvements here and there.
You can only use this on devices that can boot a modifiable logo via either exploits or no image vfy on the logo partition.

India plans stricter VPN regulations to prevent bypassing blocks
The Indian Government is working on an expansive legal framework requiring VPN providers to establish offices in India and hire compliance officers for addressing grievances raised by the government
Penalties and jail terms are also being considered for local employees in case of non-compliance.
This comes after the 2022 rules were not effective, as many VPN companies removed their physical servers from India.

In the last few months, we have been observing that users are able to bypass content, accounts and online services that have been blocked by the government on various grounds by using VPN services. The 2022 Cert-In directives that required VPN providers to store some usage data have not managed to rein in these companies as they have simply refused to comply. So, the need for a full-fledged law is being felt.
This comes after the 2022 rules were not effective, as many VPN companies removed their physical servers from India.

Chat, I don't want to sound like a schizo, but it sure is STRANGE how much data Microsoft collects with it's telemetry functionality. It's very odd Microsoft documents and records all of your web browser activity, and gaming, and can tie it to your social media, so they can improve your "Windows Experience".

Discord will ban your account for sending grid based images
Apparently if you send Grid based images like chessboard, Minecraft inventory, spreadsheets etc. on discord then due to a critical issue in discord's useless AI system, itโll ban your accounts for CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material)
