The Russian company Irteya, which began mass production of its own 4G(LTE)/5G mobile communication base stations of the OpenRAN architecture, announced at the end of 2024 the introduction of the first 200 units in the MTS network in 37 regions of Russia. In 2025, another 1,000 base stations will be produced and delivered to the operator, and by 2027 production will increase to 10,000 units.
