Jiroft event uses child tourism to connect new generation with ancient civilization

A family-oriented event in Jiroft introduced children to the 5,000-year-old Halil Rud civilization through simulated excavations, pottery workshops, and storytelling. Officials say such activities help children understand that archaeological objects are part of their identity—and prevent future illegal digging. Jiroft's Konar Sandal site revealed a sophisticated Bronze Age civilization with an undeciphered script.

Brutal repression of teenagers exposes deepening crisis in France

France has arrested nearly 5,000 people in three weeks—up to 90% minors—as students protest crumbling schools and austerity. Police used rubber bullets and tear gas; one 16-year-old lost an eye. The government labeled the protests "urban violence" and threatened parents with legal action. Critics highlight France's double standard: lecturing others on human rights while repressing its own youth.

Is the UAE trying to save Netanyahu?

Netanyahu's surprise Abu Dhabi visit—followed by Turkey's Fidan meeting Emirati leaders and Mansour bin Zayed's trip to Riyadh—points to a coordinated US-Israeli effort to realign the region. Analysts say the UAE is hosting these talks on Yemen, Iran, and Lebanon while serving as what critics call a "Trojan horse" for Israeli interests across the region.

Ghalibaf: Hormuz won't reopen until Iran's seven conditions are met

🔹Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf declared that the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until Iran's seven conditions under the Islamabad MoU are fulfilled.

🔹He said the US has sent proposals through mediators, but "the era of time-wasting and dictating one-sided demands is over."

🔹Qalibaf described US behavior as cognitive warfare: "One day they pose for negotiations, the next they threaten war—aimed at confusing Iranian society."

🔹"Only one who has prepared for war can win at the negotiating table. Iran and the Resistance Front are at the peak of strength," he concluded.

Araghchi: US claim of expelling Iranian diplomats is absurd

🔹Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi dismissed US claims that Iranian diplomats were expelled, saying: "We traveled to the US and returned on a pre-arranged schedule. The US's claims are truly strange."

🔹He said Iran's UNGA presence was "strong and effective," with President Pezeshkian's speech and the seven-day plan for ending the conflict drawing significant attention.

🔹"There is no military solution, and more sanctions won't work either. Only a negotiated, just solution can end this illegal war."

🔹"If the enemy chooses aggression again, Iran's response will be stronger than before."

Baghaei: US is not a worthy host for the United Nations

🔹Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei rejected US claims that Iranian diplomats were expelled from New York as "pure lies," saying: "Our travel was announced in advance. It has no honor for America to boast about violating commitments; it proves they are not a worthy host for the UN."

🔹On Hormuz, he said: "The key is stopping US aggression. Experience shows Washington lacks seriousness about diplomacy—so while we speak of diplomacy, we also speak of decisive defense."

🔹"No discussion of inspectors returning in exchange for sanctions relief has taken place. Our task was to convey our seven-day plan."

Araghchi: US claim of expelling Iranian diplomats shows desperation, defeat

🔹Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded to the false news of Iranian diplomats' expulsion, stating that all Iranian diplomats who traveled to New York for the UN General Assembly left according to plan—except one who returned early.

🔹"Boasting about the false news of 'expelling' diplomats is inappropriate for the head of any diplomatic apparatus. Such an approach shows desperation and defeat above all, and conflicts with the host country's obligations to the UN."
