Lesser-known classical music pieces performed at Roudaki Hall
Tehran's Roudaki Hall hosted the "Mourning to Dawn" concert, featuring rarely performed classical works by Schubert, Bach, and lesser-known composers like Beliczay, Kalinnikov, and Coleridge-Taylor. Conductor Mahmoud Mirzaei noted the technical difficulty—many pieces were unfamiliar even to the orchestra—and said the ensemble performed with just four rehearsals instead of the needed 10 to 12.
