Researcher Ehsan Aghajani-Rizi received a silver medal at the 6th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions for the "NASTE AI" smart tourism system—an AI-based platform developed to enhance destination management.

The competition featured representatives from 50 countries. Isfahan's deputy tourism head said AI in tourism is "an undeniable necessity" and that failing to use it risks losing marketing and guidance opportunities.

The achievement positions Isfahan as a center for smart tourism, with AI integration now a strategic priority for upcoming international events in 1405–1406.

Swedish Iranologist Bo Utas elected as honorary member of Academy of Persian Language and Literature

The Academy of Persian Language and Literature has elected Professor Emeritus Bo Utas—a prominent scholar of Iranian languages at Uppsala University—as an honorary member for his lifelong contributions to Persian studies.

Iran's Ambassador visited Utas, 88, to present the certificate and convey Iranian appreciation. Utas called the honor "a sign of gratitude" toward all who cherish Iranian culture.

He stressed: "We must not allow transient issues to affect the brilliant history of cultural and scientific relations between Iran and Sweden."

A scholar of Persian historical linguistics, Utas has translated Hedayat's "Blind Owl" into Swedish.
