Iran's Foreign Ministry issues statement after US aggression on Larak Island

🔹The Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the US military strike on Larak Island on Sunday night, which martyred and wounded several Iranian military personnel and civilians, calling it a clear violation of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter.

🔹In response, Iran's Armed Forces carried out "defensive and crushing blows" on US military bases in Jordan, which served as the origin and support for the aggression against Iran, exercising Iran's inherent right to self-defense.

🔹The ministry stressed that the sole cause of insecurity in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is the "illegal and aggressive actions of the United States and the Zionist regime," which began with the attack on Iran on February 28 and have continued through the naval blockade and other provocations.

Pezeshkian arrives in Bishkek for SCO summit, bilateral talks
