Lying to its people, denying its crimes
Seven months into the Iran war, investigations reveal a widening gap between Washington's narrative and reality. The UN found "reasonable grounds" that the US committed war crimes in Minab and Lamerd. US military deaths exceed Pentagon figures, damage to US bases was concealed, and costs have reached $43.6 billion. Senators demand transparency, but the administration disputes the findings.

From My Lai to Minab: A question every American should ask themselves
After the UN found grounds to believe the US committed war crimes in Minab and Lamerd, Washington issued a hasty denial without evidence. The writer draws a parallel with My Lai—initially covered up, later exposed—and notes a New Yorker investigation found ~800 US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan, with few convictions. The problem, he argues, is structural, not just Trump.

Ghalibaf: No talks with US until Iran's terms met, Hormuz won't reopen
🔹Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that there will be no return to previous negotiations, and the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen, until Iran's conditions are met and US commitments are implemented.
🔹Speaking ahead of Sacred Defence Week, he said Iran is repeating its historical experience of resistance—"with the difference that this time it will shape a new order in the region and the world."
🔹"The duality of war or negotiation is not real. We must both fight and negotiate—fight powerfully and negotiate with authority when the enemy is weak," he said, describing this as the path to deterrence.
🔹He stressed that Iran's conditions have been conveyed frankly through mediators: "The enemy knows the path of deception and one-sided imposition is closed."
🔹"Today the old American order in West Asia has collapsed, and it is the Islamic countries of the region that must implement a new order."

Khatam al-Anbiya warns US, regional states: Any mistake will bring painful strikes
🔹The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that based on intelligence, the US—seeking to cover its failures and fabricate achievements in a war started on Israeli lies and continued through deception—has decided to resume actions against Iran with the green light of some regional states at a joint meeting in a European country.
🔹"If the US commits any mistake against Iran, all its bases and interests in the region will be targeted with continuous, effective, and painful strikes—without any restriction or consideration," the warning stated.
🔹It also cautioned regional states that if they continue their dual policy and align with the US aggression, they will be considered partners in the aggression and can no longer expect restraint or propriety from Iran's powerful Armed Forces.

Denmark makes strategic blunder by giving in to Trump's annexation threats over Greenland
Trump has announced an Arctic security pact with Denmark and Greenland after months of annexation threats, but key terms remain undisclosed. Analysts warn Denmark may be appeasing a president who views Greenland as a real estate asset, not a security shield. Given Trump's record of breaking deals and threatening allies, Europe risks turning Greenland into "another Palestine."
