The times are crazy and I pray for your family's wellbeing.
We have a few job opportunities for you, rebels and outliers.
I have spend 17 years in the industry. If there is one thing I know about what kind of people who succeed, I would say, it is people who do what they want to do. Those stuck in the middle of their career having built expertise in something they don't want to are the biggest failures. Why did they get there?
In 2018, I was a consulting trainer for Infosys in their Mysore campus, I asked everyone there, "What do you really want to do in your career?" at least half of them said they actually didn't want to be a software engineer but situation and student loan is forcing them up to take a job and earn their pay.
Half.
If you belong to that half and you want to be a Marketer and not an Engineer, we have some challenge up for you to solve before we can mutually decide to work together.
Why Rebels and Outliers?
Maybe you were thinking you will be another software engineer and probably didn't think such an opportunity existed. You now have to overcome yourselves and see that you can. You need to be rebel within. If not then you must have been an outlier who was clear all throughout your Engineering degree course that you aren't going to be an Engineer. My own cousin did great in Engineering but she knew all throughout that she wanted to do something in cartoon and design. She is a designer at a leading firm now. Right out of the college.
Why are we hiring Engineers for Marketing?
Winners have hunger. Sometimes hunger comes deprivation. Engineering grads who don't want to be Engineers have that hunger and deprivation. Also, Engineering principles are required in Marketing. Tech today is in every role. So, we are looking at Marketers who aren't intimidated by Technology. Who are savvy with content and internet technologies.
Good things happen.
