BITCOIN IS FINE, IT'S GOING TO GROW!
Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, believes so.
It is hardly a safe investment to buy an asset that could lose 70% in 8 months. Perhaps the words of the president are addressed to citizens who are frustrated with bitcoin’s integration.
Last weekend, bitcoin broke down below the psychological mark of $20,000. But then it was able to get back above 20k again. This can be interpreted as a false bearish breakdown (1).
When the price fell below 20k, there were signs of panic. However, I suppose the big players bought panic selling – a typical sign of the formation of lows in the market.
The descending channel, however, is still in effect. If the bulls fail to reverse the trend up from the 20k level, we may see a fall to the lower line (2) of the descending channel. Then the BTCUSD will drop below 15k.
