Argentine football fans should enjoy Lionel Messi while they can and stop worrying about whether the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner will retire from international soccer after this year's World Cup in Qatar, coach Lionel Scaloni said on Sunday.
"We have to enjoy him now, not think about the future and what is going to happen," Scaloni told reporters ahead of Tuesday's qualifier away to Ecuador.
"Sometimes, because that's life, one gets old and I think that's normal. But why not think about the spectacular here and now? Why not enjoy him now? It's useless thinking about what is going to happen after the World Cup."

Don't worry. It's all under control. BAM doubles coaching director Rexy Mainaky insisted that the national team's preparations for the Thomas Cup Finals remain unaffected despite the untimely departure of reliable men's doubles coach Flandy Limpele.
Rexy said he is not in a hurry to fill the void left by Flandy, who is set to join BA of Indonesia as their mixed doubles coach.
While admitting that losing a coach of Flandy's calibre is a blow, Rexy has plenty of faith in the other doubles coaches under his charge.
"It's a shame that Flandy had to leave after all the great work he has done for us," said the Indonesian badminton legend yesterday.

Malaysia's mixed doubles Chan Peng Soon-Toh Ee Wei and Yap Roy King-Teoh Mei Xing experienced mixed fortunes at the Orleans Masters in France yesterday.
Veteran Peng Soon, who is turning out as a pair with Ee Wei for the first time, failed to get going as they crashed to a 22-20, 18-21, 21-18 defeat by Indonesia's Zachariah Josiahno Sumanti-Hediana Julimarbela in the first round.
It was a disappointing outcome for the pair, especially Peng Soon after he returned to BA of Malaysia's fold last year.

Ronaldo isn’t Portugal’s only threat, says South Korea coach
SEOUL: South Korea coach Paulo Bento said Portugal are more than a one-man team and stopping Cristiano Ronaldo will be just one of their tasks when they meet at the World Cup.
Bento knows all about the 37-year-old Manchester United forward, having managed his native Portugal from 2010 to 2014. In addition to the former European champions, South Korea have also been drawn to face Ghana and Uruguay in Qatar.
“Our concern in this moment cannot be (about) one player,” said Bento. “It doesn’t matter what kind of player we talk about.
“All the people know that he is one of the best players in the world, ever. But then we need to consider all the Portugal team, not just one player.
