So don't laugh at my terrible singing, but I found this holistic site and I started following him, one of the things he suggests daily is singing this song to help you heal your cells, so here goes! If nothing else, it makes you smile when you sing it!

The Barnum Effect:
Ever read a horoscope, tarot reading, or intense motivational video and felt like it was written just for you? That’s the Barnum effect (or Forer effect) a cognitive bias where people rate vague, general personality statements as highly accurate when presented as personalized.
The Famous Experiment
In 1948, psychologist Bertram Forer gave students a personality test, then handed everyone the same generic paragraph (pulled from astrology books). Sample lines: “You have a great need for other people to like and admire you” and “At times you are extroverted… at other times introverted.” Students rated it 4.3 out of 5 on accuracy before learning it was identical for all.
Why It Works
Vague “Barnum statements” use qualifiers like “at times” or “you tend to,” letting you project your own life onto them.
Flattery + Confirmation Bias: Positive or balanced feedback feels insightful; we remember hits and ignore misses.
Wishful Thinking + Authority: We crave meaning and trust “experts,” rituals, or algorithms saying “this found you for a reason.”
Subjective Validation: Our brains create personal connections that aren’t really there.
Everyday Examples
Horoscopes, tarot readings, cold readings, and many online motivational videos thrive on this. AI makes it scalable mass producing affirming content that keeps viewers engaged in echo chambers.
You can see it in action with popular YouTube examples like tarot style collective readings or intense Joker themed motivational speeches (e.g., urgent destiny or awakening messages from various channels). The dramatic delivery and broad statements often land as profoundly personal.
These videos (and similar content) deserve close attention. The Joker archetype symbolizing chaos, awakening, and rebellion appears in many formats that can have a profound effect on viewers through repetition and identity anchoring. Algorithms push this material widely, increasing exposure.
Real world cases show the Joker imagery appearing in disturbing contexts. There have been multiple threats of violence involving individuals in Joker makeup or referencing the character, often amplified around the 2019 film release. In one notable Canadian incident, the perpetrator of a 2026 school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia Jesse Van Rootselaar, an 18 year old transgender individual had an online footprint that included references to practicing a “Joker laugh” and makeup, alongside mental health struggles. While authorities have not established a direct motive link to online content, such cases illustrate how cultural symbols and psychological narratives can intersect with real societal impacts, including threats and violence.
The Takeaway
The Barnum effect shows how easily we construct meaning from ambiguity, especially when it flatters us or offers hope. Awareness helps: Ask if a statement could apply to almost anyone. Demand specifics over vague validation.
Next time something feels too personal, remember you might just be experiencing classic psychology in action. Stay skeptical and curious!

This woman got a rental car from Audi because her car is getting repaired
“You ready to see the most dystopian f*cked thing that I've seen in a long time?”
The car is equipped with a cameras so massive pointing directly at you, she’s calling it the “Eye of Sauron” and it records everything you do including video, audio and more
“How is it legal that a dash cam, voice record everything that you're talking about, private information? I work in medicine and I speak to patients on the phone about private health information every day, and now I can't do that in this car because Audi is recording it and listening and videotaping.
And on top of that — if you're speeding, it knows and it tells you’re speeding. If you are not wearing your seatbelt properly, it tells you, seatbelt, seatbelt. It's watching, it's capturing, it's recording.
I don't know how this is legal, but I wish I had known about this feature before I agreed to take this loaner car, because I would have 100% paid $700 for a rental car instead of this. I can't tell you how uncomfortable I feel in this car”
I found the camera is by Lytx, it’s a company that provides video telematics and fleet safety systems to vehicles
It has AI-powered driver monitoring for risky behaviors like speeding, seatbelt issues, distraction, phone use, drowsiness, harsh braking and more
Event-based recording plus options for continuous recording or audio
Apparently they’re now being put in luxury vehicles for dealers to protect their cars
This is insane
