Turkey's Șanliurfa Governor Hasan Şildak reports that note indicating the presence of explosive material was discovered on AJET 4180, a passenger flight en route from Ankara to Şanlıurfa. The aircraft, which departed at 19.00 on 5 October 2026, landed safely at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport at 20.05.

Authorities have evacuated all 136 passengers and 7 crew members to ensure their safety. Security units are currently conducting a thorough search of the plane to locate and neutralise any potential explosives.
