I was born and raised in Raleigh N.C., on July 4th 1976 Raleigh was a buzz with neighborhood parades, picnics, there was just excitement in the air ! I live 80 miles from Raleigh in a town that has a curfew for children under 18 this weekend, due to the latest trend with “teens” supposedly fighting downtown, which was a minor event, but whatever … my point in saying all of this is 50 years later 80 miles east it’s a much different world .. My city has put very little effort in celebrating July 4th ( same as every year ) with a curfew…
EVERY town and city in this great nation should be covered in red, white and blue to celebrate our 250th ! Happy 4th to everyone ❤️
